Silkland S3434 USB4 Cable, 80Gbps, 240W, 90° Right-Angle Connector

When a cable needs to handle demanding data, display and charging tasks, a straight connector can take up more room at a desk. The Silkland S3434 combines USB4 connectivity with a 90° right-angle USB-C connector, making it easier to route beside a laptop, monitor or docking station.

Its 80Gbps data transfer, up to 120Gbps display bandwidth and 240W charging support bring several high-bandwidth uses together in one 0.5 m cable. Actual speeds and display modes depend on the connected devices.

How it fits

Use the S3434 to connect compatible USB-C equipment such as a laptop, docking station, SSD, tablet, smartphone, VR headset or monitor. Its male-to-male USB-C connectors suit direct device-to-device connections, while the right-angle end can sit close to a device instead of projecting straight out. That can help keep a desk setup orderly and reduce interference around a mouse or other nearby equipment.

For a laptop-and-dock setup, the cable can carry data between the computer and dock, with display and charging capabilities available where the connected equipment supports them. It is also intended for demanding display configurations, including dual 8K or 6K at 60Hz, triple 4K at 144Hz, or single 4K at 540Hz. These modes depend on the computer, displays and setup, choose the configuration supported by your devices.

Why it makes sense

Rather than choosing a cable for charging alone or data alone, this model brings together 80Gbps bidirectional data transfer and 240W fast-charging support. The stated 120Gbps display bandwidth is designed for high-resolution, high-refresh-rate display use. For creative work, large file transfers or a multi-screen workstation, that combination can make one short cable useful across several parts of the setup.

The 90° connector is a practical distinction from a conventional straight plug: it turns the cable alongside the device, which can help in compact desk or docking-station layouts. The cable also has a braided nylon exterior, an aluminium shell and triple shielding. An E-marker chip supports current matching, while the 48V/5A rating and USB PD 3.1 and QC 4.0+ compatibility are specified for charging. Use a suitable compatible charger and device to access the charging capabilities supported by your setup.

Buyer feedback often highlights the cable’s function, speed and stability, including use with docks and external monitors. Opinions on connectivity and cable thickness are mixed, so the right-angle design and braided construction are worth considering for how you plan to route it.
