Benefits

Cat 8 performance makes this cable suited to network setups that call for high transfer capacity, including gaming and streaming connections. Its shielded F/FTP construction is designed to reduce interference, noise and crosstalk, while the pure copper core and gold-plated RJ45 connectors support a stable wired link. The stated maximum rate is 40 Gbps, with a frequency of 2000 MHz.

The RJ45 connection works with a broad range of listed equipment, including PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, computers, laptops, modems, routers, network switches, NAS devices, hubs, televisions and printers. Backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet categories also makes it useful when adding a Cat 8 cable to an existing network that includes older Cat-rated connections. For a PoE installation, this 50 ft length supports power over Ethernet, so a compatible PoE camera can receive power through the network cable.

Compared with choosing a wireless connection, this cable provides a direct physical link between network devices. Its 50 ft length can help when the equipment is spread across a room or needs to connect from a router to a console or television. The braided, round design adds flexibility for routing the cable neatly around everyday furnishings and work areas.

Buyer feedback often calls out the cable’s signal quality, build, flexibility and length. Some customers report mixed connectivity experiences, so performance can depend on the connected equipment and network setup. The cable’s stated features make its role clear: a wired Cat 8 link for compatible home and office devices.

Should you buy it?

Choose the UGREEN NW153 if you need a long RJ45 cable for a gaming, streaming or general networking setup and want Cat 8 capacity with shielded construction. Its 50 ft reach, braided exterior and backward compatibility make it a useful fit for connecting devices in different parts of a room while keeping the network connection wired. It also suits a setup using compatible PoE equipment, where one cable can carry both network data and power.
