Silkland S2213 HDMI 2.1 Cable, 6.6 ft, 48Gbps, Braided

For a gaming or home entertainment setup that needs HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and high-refresh video support, the Silkland S2213 brings a 48Gbps connection in a 6.6-foot cable. Its nylon-braided outer layer and grey finish make it a practical fit for connecting a console, computer or Blu-ray player to a compatible TV or monitor.

It also supports eARC and HDR formats, helping carry video and audio through a single HDMI connection when the connected devices support those features.

Tech summary

The cable is specified for HDMI 2.1 with a data transfer rate of 48Gbps. Supported video formats include 8K at 60Hz and 4K at up to 240Hz, as well as 144Hz and 120Hz. It also lists 10K and 5K support. The available resolution and refresh rate depend on the source device, display and content, for example, the product guidance notes that a game must support 4K at 120Hz to use that mode.

Other listed features include HDR10+, VRR, ALLM, HDCP 2.2 and 2.3, and eARC/ARC. These are useful for a compatible setup where you want high-refresh gaming, HDR video or audio return over HDMI. The cable has male-to-male HDMI connectors and a round, nylon-braided design. Its E-Braid construction is described as a double-layer winding with nylon braiding.

Buyer feedback highlights the cable’s braided construction and everyday connectivity, while reports differ on resolution performance and long-term durability. For the best fit, choose the video mode your console or computer, display and content all support, rather than relying on the cable alone to set the system’s output.

How to use it

Connect one end to an HDMI output, such as a PS5, PS4, Xbox, computer or Blu-ray player, and the other to an HDMI input on a compatible TV or monitor. The 6.6-foot length suits a nearby device-to-display connection in a gaming area, desk setup or home entertainment centre. For a feature such as eARC, connect the devices through the HDMI ports designated for that function and enable the relevant settings on the equipment.

To use a high refresh rate, select a supported mode on the source and display, game-specific modes also depend on the game. HDR, VRR, ALLM and audio formats such as Dolby Atmos or DTS:X likewise require compatible equipment and content. This makes the cable a useful choice for a setup designed around HDMI 2.1 features, rather than a basic connection where those capabilities are not needed.

In the box

The package contains one Silkland HDMI 2.1 cable, measuring 6.6 feet. Its male-to-male connectors are intended to link HDMI-compatible devices directly, with a braided nylon exterior for a more substantial cable finish.

Buying verdict

Choose the Silkland S2213 when you want a single, 6.6-foot HDMI connection for a compatible gaming or entertainment setup, with 48Gbps bandwidth, high-refresh video support and eARC among its listed features. It brings the most practical value to a system whose console or computer, display and content can take advantage of those capabilities.
