Stouchi ST-HTH45 HDMI 2.1 Cable, 13 ft/4 m, 48 Gbps, 8K@60 Hz

Fit and sizing

At 13 ft/4 m, this Stouchi HDMI cable gives you room to connect devices across a TV stand or between a console and a display without placing them side by side. Its round, grey cable has a double-braided nylon outer layer, with male-to-male HDMI connectors at each end. Setting up a gaming console, TV and receiver? The HDMI 2.1 FRL connection supports high-resolution video and audio features for compatible equipment. Worth considering if you need one cable for a home entertainment setup that includes gaming or streaming.

Pros

The cable supports bandwidth up to 48 Gbps and video formats including 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 2K at 144 Hz. That gives compatible displays and devices room to use high resolutions and fast refresh rates for games, films and streaming. HDMI 2.1 features include VRR, ALLM, QFT and QMS, which support a responsive, smooth gaming setup when the connected equipment also supports them.

For sound and picture, eARC, Dynamic HDR and SBTM are supported, alongside Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and HDCP 2.2 and 2.3. Connect a compatible console or streaming device to a TV, or route audio through a compatible soundbar or A/V receiver. The cable also works with earlier HDMI standards, including HDMI 2.0, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, making it useful when a setup combines newer and older equipment.

Buyers often highlight the picture quality, build and connections in their setups. Feedback on signal quality is mixed, and some report flickering or a black screen with 4K at 120 Hz displays. For that mode, the result depends on the connected devices and the setup as a whole.

Before you decide

What can I connect with this HDMI cable? It is designed for high-resolution audio and video connections, including gaming consoles, PCs, streaming devices, TVs, soundbars and A/V receivers. The connected equipment needs to support the video and audio features you want to use.

Does it work with older HDMI equipment? Yes. The cable is described as compatible with HDMI 2.0, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 standards, so it can serve setups that include earlier HDMI devices.

Can it carry audio to a soundbar or receiver? It supports eARC, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Use those audio features with compatible connected equipment.

When it makes sense

Choose this cable when your setup calls for a longer HDMI connection and you want support for high refresh rates, high-resolution video and advanced audio features in one run. Its 13 ft/4 m length can suit a console-to-TV connection or a route through an entertainment centre, while the braided outer layer adds a practical finish for everyday home use. Compared with choosing a shorter cable for closely grouped devices, this length offers more reach for arranging a TV, console and receiver around the room. It’s a practical fit for compatible gaming and home cinema equipment that can make use of HDMI 2.1 features.
