Keychron M3-A1 Wireless Optical Mouse, PAW3395 Sensor, 26,000 DPI

A mouse for a fixed desk setup has different priorities from one that moves between work and play. The Keychron M3-A1 combines a lightweight ergonomic shape with wireless and wired connectivity. Its PAW3395 optical sensor supports up to 26,000 DPI, and the programmable controls let you tailor the mouse to different tasks.

Highlights

Choose 2.4 GHz wireless for a responsive connection at your desk, Bluetooth 5.1 when you want to pair the mouse with another device, or a wired Type-C connection. This flexibility makes it easier to adapt the M3 to a gaming setup, a work laptop, or a mobile workspace. What if you could adjust the controls to suit each task? Keychron’s Launcher web app lets you remap buttons, assign macros, fine-tune DPI and polling rate, and save up to five profiles.

The PAW3395 sensor offers up to 26,000 DPI and 650 IPS, with a 1,000 Hz polling rate for precise cursor control in games and everyday computer work. At 79 g, the mouse is easy to reposition, while its curved shape, textured side grips, and PTFE feet support a comfortable hold and smooth movement. The battery is rated for up to 70 hours with RGB off, giving you more time between charges during regular use.

Fit and sizing

The M3’s curved ergonomic design and textured grips are intended to support a secure, comfortable hold during extended use. Its 79 g weight can suit users who prefer a lighter mouse for frequent repositioning, whether moving between targets in a game or navigating a busy desktop. PTFE feet help it glide across the work surface, while the matte ABS body gives the mouse a practical finish for daily handling.

For a setup that stays in one place, a wired connection can keep the mouse connected by cable. The M3 also offers 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.1, so you can choose a wireless connection for a cleaner desk or greater flexibility between compatible devices. Its listed compatible devices include laptops, personal computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Who it’s for

The M3 suits people who want one mouse for gaming and everyday productivity, with sensor sensitivity and controls they can customize. Use a saved profile for a preferred game setup and another for general computer tasks, or assign a macro to a programmable button for a repeated action. The three connection options are useful for anyone whose routine shifts between a desktop, laptop, or other compatible device.

It also suits users who value a lighter mouse with a shaped grip rather than a basic design focused only on straightforward pointer control. With Windows, macOS, and Linux listed among its supported operating systems, it can fit a range of computer setups. For adjustments, the Launcher web app provides access to button mapping, macros, DPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and profiles.

Final verdict

Choose the Keychron M3-A1 for a versatile mouse that brings a high-sensitivity PAW3395 sensor, adjustable controls, and a lightweight ergonomic design together. Its 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired Type-C connections make it a practical fit for gaming, work, and setups that move between devices.
