InnoView portable monitor 15.6-inch

A laptop screen can feel cramped when you’re juggling a document, a call and reference material, especially away from your usual desk. The InnoView portable monitor adds a separate 15.6-inch display, with a built-in stand that adjusts up to 90° and a protective sleeve for carrying it between workspaces. Its 1080p IPS panel and USB-C and HDMI connections give it a broader role than a basic travel screen, but the power setup matters: an additional charger is not included, and the product notes recommend using one to avoid flickering.

Key specifications

The display is 15.6 inches, with 1080p resolution, an IPS panel, a 178° viewing angle and a stated 1200:1 contrast ratio. HDR is also listed. Those details point to a screen for everyday work, media and gaming, rather than a monitor designed around a high refresh rate or specialist colour work, no refresh-rate information is provided.

For connections, it has two full-featured USB-C ports and one standard HDMI port. It also has a four-button menu control for adjusting settings. The built-in stand offers 90° adjustment, so you can prop the screen beside a laptop instead of relying on a separate stand. The listed dimensions are 13.9 × 8.7 × 0.25 inches, and the weight is 1.5 pounds.

Who it’s for

This is aimed at people who want more screen space without carrying a traditional, bulkier monitor. For example, you could set it beside a laptop at a temporary desk and keep a spreadsheet open on one display while writing on the other. It may also suit travel or casual gaming, with HDMI and USB-C connections listed for laptops, phones, tablets, PCs and gaming consoles. Actual connection requirements can vary by device, so don’t assume every device will work through the same cable or setup.

It’s a good choice if portability, a built-in adjustable stand and a supplied sleeve matter more than having a full-size desk display. It may not be the best choice if you need a stated high refresh rate, specialist colour specifications or a complete power setup in the box. The extra charger is the clearest practical limitation in the available details.

Includes

The product description lists a protective sleeve made for the monitor, intended to help reduce scratches during everyday carrying. That’s useful if the screen will be packed alongside other items in a bag, though a sleeve should not be treated as a substitute for careful handling. A charger is not included. The listing also mentions a 30-day return policy and an 18-month warranty, with external-force damage excluded, check the terms that apply to your purchase before relying on them.

Before deciding

Does it have a stand? Yes. The monitor has a built-in stand with adjustment up to 90°.

Can it connect to a console? HDMI is listed, and the product description names PS, Xbox and Nintendo Switch among compatible device types. The exact cable and power requirements for a particular setup are not specified.

Does it come with a charger? No. An additional charger is recommended to help avoid flickering, so factor that into your setup if you don’t already have a suitable one.

Final verdict

Choose the InnoView if you want a portable second screen with a 1080p IPS display, a stand and a sleeve, and you’re comfortable sorting out power separately. If your priority is a more demanding desktop monitor, or you need clearly stated performance details such as refresh rate, the information here is too limited to make that case.
