Tremors: The Complete Series 025195037723 DVD Box Set, 3-Disc Sci-Fi TV

For a movie night built around creature features, Tremors: The Complete Series brings the residents of Perfection, Nevada, and their monster-filled misadventures together in one DVD set. The story draws on the movies’ mix of science fiction, horror, and humor, with Graboids, Shriekers, a particularly large Graboid called El Blanco, and strange experiments adding fresh trouble for the town.

This three-disc box set runs 9 hours and 18 minutes, making it suited to an extended watch or a few episodes at a time. Choose it for a continuing small-town creature story, a standalone monster movie is the better fit when you want a shorter, self-contained watch.

Best use cases

The series suits viewers who want more time with the Tremors world than a single movie allows. In Perfection, the residents face threats from creatures while also dealing with secret labs, the gene-blending Mixmaster, and visitors who bring their own complications. That combination gives the show room to move between creature action and the personalities reacting to it.

It also works well for fans of classic-style monster stories who enjoy an ensemble cast. Michael Gross, Victor Browne, Gladys Jimenez, Marcia Strassman, and Dean Norris are among the credited contributors. The fantasy, horror, and science-fiction elements make the set a natural choice when you want a creature feature with an ongoing story rather than a collection centered on one isolated encounter.

What you’ll notice day to day

The three-disc format gathers the complete series in a single box set, so it can be watched in sequence or revisited episode by episode. Its 9 hours and 18 minutes of runtime give viewers a substantial stretch of the Perfection storyline, whether the plan is a longer viewing session or returning to the town over several nights.

The DVD presentation is in color and full screen, with NTSC and Dolby formats listed, plus English-language content and English subtitles. These details help set expectations for a straightforward home-video presentation. The series’ changing creature threats and familiar cast also provide a different rhythm from a movie that introduces a problem and resolves it in one sitting.

Buyer reactions highlight the show’s entertainment value, its characters, and its feel as an extension of the films. Some viewers also criticize the video quality as grainy and describe the series as short-lived. Those impressions offer useful context, while the listed format and runtime remain the practical details for choosing how to watch.

What matters most

The main appeal is the combination of a recognizable monster-movie setting and an ongoing TV story. The residents are not simply facing Graboids: the series also brings in Shriekers, El Blanco, secret laboratories, and Mixmaster’s gene-blending experiments. That variety supports a broader set of creature encounters while keeping the action rooted in Perfection and its community.

For someone choosing between a single film and a longer series, this set is the better match for spending more time with the characters and their changing encounters. Its three discs and 9-hour-18-minute runtime make the format clear, while the listed fantasy, horror, and science-fiction genres describe the show’s blend. It is a practical way to keep the full series together in a DVD collection.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you enjoy creature features with returning characters, small-town chaos, and a mix of horror, science fiction, and humor. The complete-series format keeps the Perfection storyline together across three discs, with enough runtime for an extended watch or a gradual return to the show. For fans looking for more of the Tremors world beyond a single movie, its combination of familiar monsters, new threats, and an ensemble cast is the clearest reason to choose this set.
