TRUE IMAGE Compatible Toner Cartridge Set, 4-Pack

The four-cartridge set covers black, cyan, yellow, and magenta, so you can replace the full color supply rather than sourcing each toner separately.

It is listed as a compatible replacement for select Canon ImageCLASS and LBP printers. That makes model matching the first thing to settle before choosing it.

The stated page yields offer a useful estimate, but they are based on 5% page coverage, not a promise of the same output for every document.

Technical details

The set includes one black cartridge and one each in cyan, yellow, and magenta. According to the maker, the black cartridge yields up to 3,400 pages, while each color cartridge yields up to 2,900 pages, measured at 5% coverage on Letter/A4 paper. Pages with large graphics, dense color, or heavy text coverage may use toner faster than that reference rate.

This is a compatible replacement set, not a claim that the cartridges are made by Canon. The product information identifies cartridge 118 / CRG-118 and describes the set as compatible with printers that use those cartridges. A solid pick if you need all four colors at once and your printer is one of the listed models. It might not be a great match if your printer model is not listed or you only need to replace a single color.

Everyday compatibility

The listed compatible printers are Canon ImageCLASS MF8580Cdw, MF8380Cdw, MF8350Cdn, MF8580, MF8380, MF726Cdw, and MF729CDW, along with LBP7660Cdn, LBP7200CDN, LBP7660, and LBP7200. Model names can be easy to mix up, especially when several share the same series number, so match the full model name rather than relying on “Canon 118” alone.

For example, if you print a mix of work documents and occasional color pages on an MF8580Cdw, the four-pack gives you the black and three color cartridges together. If your model is absent from the compatibility list, the supplied details do not establish that it will work with this set.

Usage tips

Before ordering, compare the exact model printed on your printer with the list above and confirm that it uses the 118 / CRG-118 cartridge family. Keep the listed yield in context: a mostly text page and a page filled with color do not consume toner at the same rate, so your actual replacement interval can differ from the stated figures.

Because this is a complete color set, it suits planned replacement of multiple cartridges better than a one-color top-up. If only one toner is low, buying a full set may leave you with unused cartridges until the other colors need replacing. The product details do not specify installation steps or other cartridge features, so follow your printer’s instructions for replacement.

Practical doubts

What colors are included? The set contains black, cyan, yellow, and magenta, one cartridge of each.

How are the page-yield figures measured? The stated yields use 5% coverage on Letter/A4 paper: 3,400 pages for black and 2,900 for each color cartridge. They are estimates tied to that coverage level.

Which printers are named as compatible? The listing names select Canon ImageCLASS MF and LBP models, including the MF8580Cdw, MF8350Cdn, MF726Cdw, and LBP7660Cdn. Check the full model against the compatibility list before choosing.

When it makes sense

This set makes sense when you need all four 118 cartridges for a listed Canon printer and prefer to have the color replacements on hand alongside black. Its main trade-off is that the yield figures depend on light 5% coverage, while a graphics-heavy workload can use toner more quickly. If you only need one color, or cannot confirm your exact printer model in the list, a single replacement cartridge or a set explicitly matched to your model is the more focused route.
