923XL Compatible Ink Cartridges 4-Pack

For households and small offices that print a mix of documents and color pages, this 923XL combo brings black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink together in one replacement set.

Its main draw is the stated page yield: about 4,500 pages total at 5% coverage on A4 paper. That figure is a reference, not a promise for every print job.

The pack is described as compatible with select HP OfficeJet Pro printers. Check the exact model number before ordering, similar model names with different suffixes are not automatically interchangeable.

Key specifications

This is a four-cartridge replacement set: one 923XL black cartridge and one each in cyan, magenta, and yellow. The listing states up to 1,500 pages for black and up to 1,000 pages for each color cartridge, with the stated total based on 5% A4 coverage. Pages with large color areas, photos, or heavy graphics may use ink differently, so the advertised yield is most relevant to lighter, everyday printing.

The listing names select OfficeJet Pro models in the 8130, 8120, and 8130e families, along with certain 9130 and 8122e models. The compatibility list includes models such as the 8135, 8138, 8139, 8124, and 8125, but the exact suffixes vary. The seller also describes an updated chip for printer recognition and a design intended to reduce leaks. Without having tried it, those points should be treated as product claims rather than a guarantee of trouble-free installation or printing.

Who it’s for

This set is aimed at owners of a listed OfficeJet Pro printer who want black and color replacements in the same purchase, rather than buying each color separately. It suits routine tasks like printing a stack of work documents, school handouts, or a form with a colored logo without needing to source separate cartridges for each ink color.

It makes sense if you use all four inks over time and your exact printer appears in the compatibility list. If you mostly print black text, a black-only replacement may better match your actual usage. It might not be a great match if your printer model is not listed or if you need confirmed performance for photo-heavy work, the provided yield figures do not describe results for that kind of printing.

What’s included

The package contents are listed as one 923XL black cartridge, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow. That covers the four ink colors named for the set. No additional supplies or instructions are specified in the product details, so don’t assume extras are included.

Practical doubts

Will it fit every HP printer? No. The listing names select OfficeJet Pro models, not HP printers in general. Match the full model number, including any letter suffix, against the compatibility details before choosing this set.

How many pages should I expect? The stated estimate is about 4,500 pages total at 5% coverage on A4 paper. Actual yield depends on what you print, and the listing’s per-cartridge figures are estimates rather than a guaranteed page count.

Does the set include all four ink colors? Yes. The stated contents are black, cyan, magenta, and yellow, one cartridge of each.

When it makes sense

Choose this combo when your printer is explicitly listed and you want both black and color replacements on hand for mixed everyday printing. It is less compelling if you only need black ink, rely on a model not named in the compatibility details, or need a yield estimate tailored to image-heavy pages. The practical decision comes down to matching the exact printer first, then deciding whether a complete color set fits the way you print.
