TESEN PG275XL 275 XL Black Ink Cartridge, Remanufactured 2-Pack

The high-yield black cartridges are rated for up to 450 pages at 5% coverage, giving frequent black-and-white printing a two-cartridge replacement option. This TESEN set is remanufactured and designed for specified Canon PIXMA printers, so the key buying check is whether your exact printer model appears on the compatibility list.

The package includes two black cartridges and a user guide. They are replacements, not Canon-branded cartridges.

Key takeaways

Each cartridge is listed with a yield of up to 450 pages based on 5% coverage. That figure gives a useful point of comparison for routine documents, but it is tied to the stated coverage level rather than a guaranteed page count for every kind of job. The ink is black and water-based, and the cartridge type is remanufactured.

Compatibility is specified for Canon PIXMA TR4720, TR4700, TR4722, TS3522, TS3520, TS3500, TS3700, TS3720, and TS3722 printers. It suits you if you need black ink for one of those models and want a two-cartridge pack. If your printer is not on that list, the product details do not establish compatibility.

Buyer feedback is positive about perceived ink quality and fit with compatible Canon printers, while comments about how long the ink lasts and whether buyers would purchase again are mixed. That makes the stated yield and your typical print coverage more useful decision points than assuming every user will get the same run time.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at everyday paper printing in black, such as text documents, when your printer is one of the listed PIXMA models. The two-pack provides a second cartridge for replacement later, rather than requiring you to select a color set when your need is specifically black ink.

A practical scenario is keeping a spare on hand for routine home or office documents. For shoppers who specifically want a Canon-branded cartridge, this remanufactured alternative is a different purchasing approach, the listing identifies TESEN as the brand and the cartridge as remanufactured.

Practical tips

Match the full printer model against the compatibility list before ordering, especially because several listed models have similar names. The cartridge is identified as PG275XL 275 XL, and the manufacturer part number is PG-275XL 275XL. Those identifiers can help distinguish it from other ink options when checking your printer’s requirements.

Use the 450-page figure as a reference based on 5% coverage. Pages with more black coverage may not reflect that stated basis, so consider how much ink your usual documents use when comparing it with a cartridge that has a different listed yield. If you prioritize a Canon-branded cartridge, this TESEN remanufactured set may not meet that preference.

Before you decide

Will it fit my printer? The listed compatible models are Canon PIXMA TR4720, TR4700, TR4722, TS3522, TS3520, TS3500, TS3700, TS3720, and TS3722. Check your printer’s exact model name against this list.

What comes in the package? It includes two black PG275XL 275 XL replacement cartridges and a user guide.

How many pages can I expect? The stated yield is up to 450 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage. Treat this as a coverage-based reference, not a guaranteed count for every print job.

Buying verdict

It might not be a great match if you need an original Canon cartridge, a color cartridge, or compatibility with a printer outside the listed models. For someone with a supported PIXMA printer who wants a two-pack of remanufactured black ink, the combination of a stated 450-page yield and clearly identified printer support makes this a straightforward option to compare with other replacement cartridges.
