Starink 910XL Replacement Ink Cartridges, 4-Pack, Black and Color for HP OfficeJet Pro

The four-cartridge pack combines black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink, so compatible printers can be replenished for both text and color printing from one purchase. Starink’s 910XL cartridges are replacements for HP 910 and 910XL cartridges and are listed for a range of HP OfficeJet and OfficeJet Pro models.

This is a third-party replacement set, not an HP-branded cartridge pack. Its value for a particular setup depends on matching the printer model and considering the listed page yields and installation guidance.

Highlights

The pack contains one black cartridge and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow. The listing gives a yield of up to 1,200 pages for black and up to 1,000 pages for each color cartridge, measured at 5% coverage. Actual page counts depend on how much ink a page uses, so these figures are most useful as stated estimates rather than a promise for every print job.

Compatibility is listed for selected HP OfficeJet and OfficeJet Pro printers, including models in the 8010, 8020, and 8030 families, with specific model numbers such as 8015e, 8025e, 8028e, and 8035e. The product information also lists certain e-series printers with HP+ service activated. Since compatibility is model-specific, match the full printer model to the listing before choosing these cartridges, a similar series name alone may not be enough.

Getting the most from it

Before installation, the product instructions say to peel off the yellow tape first and then remove the orange cap. They also advise not touching the cartridge chips. These steps are intended to help avoid ink leakage or recognition problems during setup.

The listing specifically advises against upgrading the printer’s firmware when using these replacement cartridges and says this may help address cartridges not being recognized. That guidance is worth factoring in if keeping firmware current is important to your printer routine. It does not establish how a particular printer will behave, so check your model and firmware situation before purchasing.

Everyday use

For a home office that prints documents alongside occasional color pages, the four colors provide a single replacement set rather than requiring separate purchases for black and each color. Fade resistance, quick drying, and high yield are listed as product features, but the supplied information does not provide independent performance results for different paper types or print settings.

Would this set suit a printer that needs frequent color as well as black? It may be a practical match when the model is explicitly listed and the stated yields fit your expected use. Compared with choosing cartridges sold under the printer maker’s own brand, this set is a compatible replacement approach, the useful comparison is the printer match, stated yield, and the firmware advice rather than an assumed difference in print quality. Worth considering if you want all four listed colors in one pack and your exact printer appears in the compatibility details. It’s not for you if your printer model is not among those listed.

Questions before you buy

Which cartridges are included? One black 910XL cartridge and three color cartridges: cyan, magenta, and yellow.

What page yield does the listing state? Up to 1,200 pages for black and up to 1,000 pages for each color cartridge, at 5% coverage. Page yield can vary with ink coverage.

Are these intended for HP+ printers? The listing says they are compatible with certain e-series printers that have activated HP+ service. Check the exact printer model in the compatibility information rather than relying on the HP+ label alone.

Buying verdict

The Starink 910XL four-pack is worth a look when you need black and all three color cartridges for a specifically listed OfficeJet or OfficeJet Pro model. Its stated yields give a useful reference point, while the replacement status and firmware advice are important parts of the buying decision. If your printer is not confirmed in the compatibility details, or you prefer not to follow the listing’s firmware guidance, this set may not fit your needs.
