LxTek 12A toner cartridge

For home offices and small workplaces that use one of the listed HP LaserJet printers, the LxTek 12A toner cartridge replacement offers a two-cartridge supply of black toner.

That format can be handy when you want a spare ready instead of ordering one cartridge at a time. Each cartridge is estimated to print up to 2,000 pages, though actual yield depends on the printer and how it is used.

The key buying decision is printer compatibility. Match your exact model to the list below before choosing, a similar model name alone is not enough to establish a match.

Key specifications

• Type: Replacement toner cartridge
• Format: Two-pack, black
• Cartridge reference: HP 12A / Q2612A
• Estimated yield: Up to 2,000 pages per cartridge, depending on printer and usage
• Listed compatibility: LaserJet 1010, 1012, 1015, 1018, 1020, 1022, 1022N, 1022NW, 3015, 3020, 3030, 3050, 3052, 3055, M1005, M1319, and M1319F

The description also mentions an intelligent IC chip and quality-control testing, but it does not provide details about installation, print-quality results, or how yield was measured. Treat the page count as an estimate, not a guaranteed amount. A busy document workflow may use toner differently from occasional printing.

Who it’s for

This replacement is aimed at owners of a printer explicitly named in the compatibility list who want black toner in a two-pack. For example, if you keep a LaserJet 1020 for household paperwork, having the second cartridge on hand could reduce the chance of running out before the next reorder.

It makes sense if your model matches and you prefer keeping a spare cartridge available. If you are choosing between a replacement pack and a single cartridge, the two-pack favors having backup stock, it is less compelling if you only want to buy one cartridge at a time. It might not be a great match if your printer model is missing from the list or you need a confirmed yield for your specific printing habits.

Included in the package

The package contains two black replacement cartridges for HP 12A / Q2612A. No other accessories or supplies are specified, so don’t assume that extras are included. From the way it is set up, the main convenience is having a second cartridge available when the first runs low, rather than getting additional features for the printer.

Practical doubts

Does this fit every HP LaserJet printer? No universal compatibility is stated. The product lists particular LaserJet and M-series models, so compare your printer’s full model number with that list before buying.

Is the 2,000-page yield guaranteed? No. The stated figure is “up to” 2,000 pages per cartridge, and the description says results depend on the printer and usage.

Are both cartridges black? Yes. The package is described as a two-pack of black replacement toner cartridges.

Buying verdict

This LxTek pack is worth considering when you have a listed printer and want two black 12A / Q2612A replacements rather than a single cartridge. The model list and estimated yield make the basic proposition clear, but the yield is not a promise of how long a cartridge will last in your setup. If your printer is not named, or you need certainty about compatibility or output before ordering, choose a replacement with those details confirmed for your exact model.
