E-Z Ink Pro DR730 Compatible Drum Unit for Brother Printers, 2-Pack

Some printer owners want a spare drum ready for a replacement, others need a complete toner-and-drum supply in one purchase. The E-Z Ink Pro DR730 is a two-pack of compatible drum units for specified Brother printers. It does not include toner, so the distinction matters when planning what to replace.

Key points

This package contains two DR730 drum units and no toner cartridge. A drum transfers toner onto paper as part of the printing process, so it is a separate replacement component from toner. If your printer needs a drum rather than a toner cartridge, this pack provides two units, if toner is also running low, that will need to be handled separately.

The listed yield is 12,000 pages per drum at 5% page coverage. Treat that as a reference under the stated coverage condition, not a promise of the same number of pages in every household or office. Pages with more coverage can use the drum differently, and actual replacement needs depend on use.

The stated compatible models are Brother HL-L2325DW, HL-L2350DW, HL-L2395DW, HL-L2390DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2370DWXL, MFC-L2690DW, MFC-L2717DW, MFC-L2750DW, MFC-L2750DWXL, MFC-L2710DW, MFC-L2730DW, and DCP-L2550DW. Match your printer’s full model number to this list before ordering rather than relying on the Brother name alone.

Getting the most from it

Use this as a drum replacement, not as a toner refill or an all-in-one printing supply. A practical example: if a listed printer needs a new drum and you already have toner, the two-pack lets you keep a second drum available for a later replacement. If you want both consumables together, a package that includes toner would be a different fit.

The product description refers to an updated formula and installation improvements, but does not provide details that would make setup steps or performance easy to compare. Follow the instructions for your printer and confirm which component it identifies as needing replacement. The main purchasing check is compatibility: the printer must be one of the models named above.

Best use cases

This pack makes the most sense for owners of the listed Brother laser printer models who specifically need DR730 drum units. The two-unit format can suit a home office or small workplace that prefers to keep a spare on hand, especially when toner is purchased separately. It also gives buyers a clear way to distinguish a drum-only replacement from a toner-and-drum bundle.

It makes sense if your printer model appears in the compatibility list and you need drum units rather than toner. Better avoided if you expect toner cartridges in the package: the listing says the two drums are the only included components. For a printer outside the stated list, the provided details do not establish compatibility.

Questions before you buy

Does this package include toner? No. It contains two DR730 drum units only, the toner cartridge is not included.

Which printers are listed as compatible? The stated list covers selected Brother HL, MFC, and DCP models, including the HL-L2350DW, MFC-L2750DW, and DCP-L2550DW. Check the full list above against your printer’s model number.

How many pages is each drum rated for? The listed estimate is 12,000 pages per drum at 5% coverage. It is a stated rating, not a guaranteed page count for every print pattern.

Is it worth it?

The deciding factor is whether you need the drum component and own a printer on the compatibility list. This E-Z Ink Pro pack supplies two units and states a 12,000-page yield per unit at 5% coverage, but it is not a complete consumables purchase because toner is excluded. Choose it when a drum-only replacement matches your need, choose a toner-inclusive option if you need both components at once.
