SightPro SP-PSB238169 / PF238W9B 23.8-Inch Privacy Screen Filter, 16:9 Anti-Glare

Key points

For people working with sensitive information in shared spaces, this SightPro privacy filter narrows side-angle visibility while keeping the display clear when viewed straight on. Its 16:9 format is designed for 23.8-inch desktop monitors, and the matte surface helps reduce glare while the filter also blocks UV and blue light.

It offers a practical alternative to a standard screen protector when privacy matters as much as glare control. The multi-layer film is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and the package includes the filter, clear adhesive strips, slide mount tabs, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Quick sizing guide

The filter measures 20 3/4 inches wide by 11 11/16 inches high, with a 23.8-inch diagonal and 16:9 aspect ratio. Match the monitor’s actual screen width and height to these dimensions rather than choosing by diagonal size alone. The product is intended for desktop monitors, compatible brands listed include HP, Dell, Samsung, Lenovo, LG, Acer, ASUS, and ViewSonic.

For installation, clear adhesive strips attach to the screen. Slide mount tabs are another option for displays with a raised bezel, letting you slide the filter on and off. Choose the method that fits the monitor’s frame and how you plan to use the screen.

Who it’s for

This filter is suited to people handling work or personal information in open offices, healthcare settings, airports, on public transit, or while traveling. It can help keep on-screen content less visible to people viewing from the side, which is useful when a monitor is positioned in a shared area. It does not block visibility for someone directly behind the user, so monitor placement still matters.

Buyer feedback is positive about the privacy effect, while opinions vary on fit, adhesion, glare reduction, and screen brightness. Measuring the display before ordering and selecting an installation method suited to its frame can help make setup more straightforward.

What to clarify

Will it fit a 23.8-inch monitor? It is designed for a 23.8-inch, 16:9 desktop screen. Compare the display’s width and height with the filter’s 20 3/4-by-11 11/16-inch measurements, diagonal size alone may not establish a match.

How can it be attached? Use the clear adhesive strips, or use the slide mount tabs on a monitor with a raised bezel. The tabs allow the filter to slide on and off.

Does it block the screen from every direction? The filter blacks out the display when viewed from the side and is designed to remain clear straight on. It does not block visibility from directly behind the user.

When it makes sense

Choose this SightPro filter when a 23.8-inch, 16:9 desktop monitor needs both side-angle privacy and a matte anti-glare surface. Its two mounting approaches support different monitor frames, while the defined screen dimensions make it easier to assess fit before setup. For shared work areas and travel, it adds a privacy layer without changing the monitor itself.
