SightPro SP-PSM15MA23 Magnetic Privacy Screen for 15.3-Inch MacBook Air

Made for a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, this SightPro magnetic privacy screen uses a microlouver film to limit side-angle viewing while keeping the screen visible from straight ahead.

Its magnetic top attachment makes it easy to put on or remove when you move between private work and shared spaces. The removable design lets you adapt your setup without a permanent screen attachment.

The filter also helps protect against scratches and reduces UV and blue light. Its glossy and matte surfaces give you two finish options for everyday laptop use.

Key takeaways

The screen is designed for 15-inch MacBook Air models A2941, A3114, and A3241. Align it along the top edge and the magnets attach it to the laptop, making it practical to switch between working privately and sharing your display. For privacy, its multilayer film darkens the screen when viewed from the side, it does not block visibility for someone directly behind you.

The package includes the magnetic privacy screen, a cleaning cloth, reusable double-sided adhesive, and a storage folder. Customer feedback often describes the screen as effective and quick to install or remove. Experiences with fit, staying in place, and glare are mixed, so it is useful to consider how you typically position your laptop and work with the display.

Tips for day-to-day use

The removable magnetic design suits routines that alternate between a private workspace and a public one. Keep the storage folder nearby when the screen is off the laptop, and use the included cleaning cloth as part of your screen-care setup. The reusable double-sided adhesive is also included as an attachment component.

Because the filter is intended to restrict side views rather than views from directly behind, position your screen with your surroundings in mind when working with sensitive information. This is especially relevant in open offices, on commutes, or in shared public spaces.

Best use cases

This privacy filter is designed for mobile workers, commuters, students, healthcare providers, and business travelers who use a compatible MacBook Air in shared settings. On a train, at an airport, or in a common work area, the side-view privacy feature helps keep on-screen information less visible to people seated beside you while you work facing the display.

Compared with a fixed screen protector, this removable magnetic format is suited to people who want to take the filter off between work sessions. Its scratch protection and UV and blue-light reduction add everyday screen-focused benefits alongside privacy. If your priority is a permanent, always-on screen layer, that is a different approach, this design emphasizes easy removal and reattachment.
