SightPro SP-PSM1411610 Magnetic Privacy Screen, 14-Inch 16:10

Magnetic attachment makes the SightPro privacy screen easy to put on when you need a more private workspace and remove when you want an unobstructed view. Its multi-layered microlouver film keeps the display clear when viewed straight on while darkening the screen from side angles.

Made for 14-inch 16:10 laptop screens, the filter also helps protect the display from scratches and reduces UV and blue light. Match the filter’s width and height to your screen for a more precise fit, it is not optimized for touchscreens.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the magnetic screen along the top edge of the laptop display so it can attach, then remove it when a privacy filter is not needed. This removable setup is handy when moving between a shared office, a commute, and a private desk, without relying on adhesive across the screen. The package includes magnetic strips, a storage folder, a cleaning cloth, and a webcam privacy cover, giving you accessories for attaching, storing, and caring for the filter.

For the intended privacy effect, position the screen between the display and people viewing from the sides. It narrows side-angle visibility, it does not block someone’s view from directly behind you. Before ordering, compare your laptop screen’s width and height with the filter dimensions rather than relying on diagonal size alone.

Where it shines

The filter suits work in open offices, airports, airplanes, and other shared spaces where a laptop screen may be visible to people nearby. The privacy effect is designed for side viewing, while the straight-on view remains clear, so you can work on the display without applying a permanent cover. Removable magnetic attachment also makes it practical for people who alternate between public and private work areas.

The glossy and matte surfaces offer two finish options, and the screen is designed to help protect against scratches while reducing UV and blue light. Buyers often describe the privacy effect and snap-on installation positively. Feedback on fit, how securely it stays in place, and glare is mixed, so matching the filter’s physical dimensions to the laptop display is an important part of choosing the right screen.

Practical questions

How do I check whether it fits my laptop? Compare your display’s width and height with the filter’s 11 15/16-inch width and 7 1/2-inch height. The intended format is 14-inch diagonal with a 16:10 aspect ratio, the diagonal alone does not establish a match.

How does the screen attach? It attaches magnetically along the top of the laptop display and can be removed and reattached as needed. Magnetic strips are included in the package.

Can I use it with a touchscreen? This filter is not optimized for touchscreen use. It is designed as a privacy screen for compatible 14-inch 16:10 laptop displays.

Should you buy it?

Choose the SightPro when you want a removable privacy filter for a compatible 14-inch 16:10 laptop and regularly work where people may see your screen from the side. Magnetic attachment makes it easy to switch between filtered and open-screen use, while the included storage folder and cleaning cloth support everyday handling. Its strongest fit is mobile or shared-space work where side-view privacy and a detachable design matter.
