PAWSCRAT DS-3 3-Step Pet Stairs, 15.7-Inch Grey Soft Foam Steps

The 15.7-inch height and three-step design give small pets a cushioned route to beds and sofas, helping them reach favorite resting spots without needing to jump straight up. The soft foam steps have a non-slip bottom, and the grey polyester cover is removable for cleaning.

Choose these stairs when you want a compact, stepped approach, a ramp may suit a pet that prefers one continuous surface. The DS-3 measures 17.7 inches deep by 15.7 inches wide by 15.7 inches high.

Key points

Three graduated steps create an accessible path to elevated furniture, while the 30D soft foam provides a cushioned surface for paws. The stairs are intended for small dogs and cats, and the 15.7-inch height makes them a practical match for a high bed or sofa. Their grey finish offers a neutral look for common living spaces.

The bottom is designed to resist slipping, an important detail when pets step on and off the stairs. Buyers often describe the steps as soft, sturdy, and useful for small dogs reaching tall beds. Feedback on fitting the cover is mixed, so allow a little care when putting it in place.

Care & maintenance

The polyester cover zips off for hand washing or machine washing, making it easier to clean up everyday pet hair and dirt. Keep the foam core out of the washing machine and dryer, clean the removable cover separately and let it dry before putting it back on.

The stairs arrive vacuum-compressed. After unpacking, give them 24 to 48 hours to expand to their full shape. No stair assembly is required, so the main setup is placing them beside the furniture your pet uses.

Getting the most from it

Measure the height of the bed or sofa before choosing a stair size, then place the steps directly alongside the edge your pet needs to reach. This helps you match the top step to the furniture and make the route easy to find. For example, setting the stairs beside a high bed gives a small dog a regular way to climb up and down rather than relying on a jump.

Keep the stairs on a level surface and give your pet time to approach them at its own pace. The three-step layout and cushioned foam offer a familiar, gradual route, while the non-slip bottom helps keep the stairs in place during use. Their lightweight 4.3-pound build also makes repositioning between a bed and sofa manageable.

When it makes sense

The PAWSCRAT DS-3 is suited to households looking for a soft, three-step aid for a small dog or cat that wants access to a bed or sofa. It brings together a useful 15.7-inch height, a removable washable cover, and a non-slip bottom in a grey design that can stay close to everyday furniture. For pet owners choosing between steps and a ramp, this model is the practical fit when a defined, cushioned staircase is the preferred route.
