What it works with
Use the ramp to help dogs enter and exit cars, SUVs, and trucks, or reach elevated spots such as a high bed or couch. For vehicle use, the metal safety tether hooks onto the trunk latch, while anti-slip feet are designed to help keep the ramp from shifting. Its 17.3-inch width gives dogs a defined path to walk on, and the textured carpet surface is intended to provide grip underfoot.
Compared with a shorter ramp, the 71-inch length creates a gentler approach, which can be helpful when a dog needs an alternative to jumping. It may suit senior dogs, dogs recovering from injury, or shorter-legged breeds that benefit from a ramp for everyday access. Buyers also highlight its ease of use, foldability, width, and traction, and describe using it with both older dogs and puppies.
Tips for day-to-day use
Position the ramp for the vehicle or elevated surface your dog needs to reach, then attach the tether to the vehicle’s trunk latch when using it with a car. The anti-slip feet and carpeted walking surface are practical features to keep in mind when setting it up. Give your dog a chance to approach and walk across at a comfortable pace, the gradual incline offers an alternative to jumping into the vehicle.
When the trip is over, fold the ramp into its four-section format for carrying or storage. At 19.5 × 17 × 6 inches when folded, it can be kept in a vehicle or at home until the next outing. It’s a great fit if you want one portable ramp for vehicle access and other elevated spots around the home.
