Oterri oterri Clear PVC Desk Pad, 36" x 24", Waterproof, Rounded Edges

A clear desk protector suits a workspace where keeping the desktop visible matters as much as protecting it. The Oterri pad lets the surface show through while creating a barrier against everyday scratches, scuffs, and stains.

Its 36" x 24" rectangular format provides a broad area for writing, drawing, or working at a desk. The smooth surface also lets you place notes or a to-do list underneath for easy visibility.

Choose it for a practical, transparent layer rather than a cover that conceals the tabletop. Its rounded edges and wipe-clean PVC surface make it useful for office desks, computer desks, and dining tables.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the smooth writing surface for notes, paperwork, or kids’ writing and drawing activities, while the transparent finish keeps the desktop visible. A list or important information can sit beneath the pad, turning it into a convenient reference point as you work. The clear material is also suited to textured tabletops or use over a tablecloth.

For routine cleanup, wipe marks with a dishcloth or clean the pad with water. The rounded-edge design helps avoid sharp corners at the hand-contact points, and the pad’s protective surface helps shield the desk from scratches, scuffs, and spills. If it arrives rolled, lay it in the reverse direction of the roll and press it with heavy items to help it flatten.

Customer feedback commonly appreciates the surface protection, transparent appearance, and ease of cleaning. Experiences with flatness and durability vary: some buyers say the pad lies flat and stays in place, while others mention it takes time to flatten or can develop discoloration and stains. These perspectives can help set expectations for a clear desk mat used in everyday work or household routines.

Practical tips

Before setting it down, choose a clean, dry surface so the transparent pad can sit neatly on the desktop. Arrange frequently used notes beneath it where they remain visible, and use the open surface for writing or drawing without covering the desk’s appearance. For a home office, it can protect the area under papers and supplies, on a dining table, it provides a wipeable layer for everyday use.

A clear mat is particularly useful when you want protection without hiding wood grain, a textured finish, or a tablecloth. If your main priority is preserving the look of the tabletop while keeping a work surface available, this format brings both functions together in one place.

When it makes sense

This Oterri pad makes sense for people who want a transparent, easy-to-clean layer across a desk or table, rather than a covering that obscures the surface underneath. Its rectangular 24" x 36" size offers room for writing and daily desk tasks, while the waterproof, oil-proof PVC and rounded edges support practical use at home or in an office. The see-through design also gives you a simple way to keep a short list or reference information visible as you work.
