YSAGi PU Leather New-02 Desk Pad, Dark Green, 35.4" x 17

A compact work surface suits a focused setup, while a larger desk pad creates room for writing, typing, and mouse use in one continuous area. The YSAGi Leather Desk Protector takes the latter approach with a 35.4" x 17" surface.

Its dark green PU leather finish gives a home office or study desk a defined work area. The rectangular pad also helps shield the desktop from scratches, stains, spills, heat, and scuffs during everyday tasks.

Use it as a writing surface and large mouse mat, with a suede backing designed to increase friction against the desk. When dust or spills collect, wipe the waterproof surface with a cloth, use a damp cloth for heavier dirt.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the pad on a clean, dry desktop to create a shared space for a laptop, keyboard, and mouse. Its large format can keep those everyday work essentials within one protected area, while leaving room to write by hand or rest your hands during typing. That makes it useful for switching between computer tasks and notes without moving to a separate surface.

For a typical work-from-home setup, position the keyboard and mouse on the pad and keep frequently used papers nearby. The PU leather top is suitable for writing and routine desk activity, and its waterproof surface can be wiped down after dust, grease, or a spill. A damp cloth helps with heavier dirt. The suede underside is designed to add friction against the desktop, helping the pad stay put during use, customer feedback on grip is mixed, so placement and desk surface can affect how secure it feels.

Strengths

The main advantage is having one broad surface for mouse movement, typing, and writing instead of dividing the desk between a small mouse mat and a separate writing area. Its size accommodates a laptop, keyboard, and mouse, making it a practical choice for a desk that sees several kinds of daily use. The protective layer also helps reduce direct contact between office items and the desktop, including during spills and routine wear.

The waterproof top supports simple upkeep: wipe away ordinary dust or liquid with a cloth, and use a damp cloth when the surface needs a more thorough clean. Buyers often praise the appearance, color, size, and ease of cleaning, and some describe the texture as soft and smooth. Experiences with how firmly it grips the desk vary, though, the suede backing is designed to increase friction, while reported results are not uniform.

Is it worth it?

This pad makes sense for a home or office desk where a broad, easy-to-clean surface can serve several purposes at once. Rather than choosing a small mat for mouse use alone, you get space for writing and everyday computer work, along with a layer that helps protect the desktop. The dark green finish adds a clear visual accent, and the 35.4" x 17" size is the defining feature for anyone who wants their laptop, keyboard, and mouse area brought together under one pad.
