Oterri oterri Clear PVC Desk Pad, 24" x 48", Waterproof and Transparent

How to use it

For a desk that needs everyday surface protection without hiding its finish, the Oterri clear PVC desk pad covers a 24" x 48" area while keeping the desktop visible. Its smooth surface provides a place for writing or drawing, and the transparent design lets you slide a to-do list or other important information underneath for easy reference.

Use it on an office desk, computer desk, or dining table. For setup, lay the pad in the reverse direction of its roll and press it with heavy items to help it lie flat. The rounded edges give the perimeter a smooth finish for everyday contact.

The clear format suits a different need than an opaque desk mat: it protects the surface while preserving the look of the desktop. It is also described as a good fit for textured tabletops or for use over a tablecloth.

Where it shines

The PVC layer is designed to help shield the desk from scratches, scuffs, and stains. If a spill or mark lands on the pad, wipe it with a dishcloth or clean it with water. That makes it practical for a writing or computer area where pens, paperwork, and daily tasks share the same surface. Its smooth writing area is also suited to children’s writing and drawing activities.

The transparent surface can keep a wood grain or other tabletop finish visible, while still creating a defined work area. Place a note or to-do list underneath when you want information close at hand without taking up the writing surface. The 24" x 48" size is useful when a smaller mat would leave much of a desk exposed, and it can also be used on dining tables.

Buyer feedback often highlights surface protection, appearance, and easy cleaning. Comments on how flat the pad lies are mixed, and some buyers mention staining or discoloration. These perspectives can help set expectations for a clear protective mat used in a working space.

Before you decide

How do you clean the desk pad? Wipe marks with a dishcloth or clean the PVC surface with water.

Can you see the desktop through it? Yes. The pad is transparent, so the tabletop remains visible, notes or a to-do list can also be placed underneath.

How can you help it lie flat after unrolling? Lay it in the reverse direction of the roll and press it with heavy items.

Buying verdict

Choose this Oterri pad when you want a broad, clear writing surface that helps protect a desk while leaving its appearance on display. Its wipe-clean PVC construction and room for writing, drawing, or keeping a note beneath the surface make it a practical fit for desks and dining tables alike.
