Oterri Clear PVC Desk Pad, 30 x 16 Inches, Waterproof and Heat-Resistant

For a home office where you want to write directly on the desk without hiding its surface, the Oterri clear desk pad adds a protective layer while keeping the desktop visible. Its smooth PVC surface supports everyday writing and drawing. Choose a clear cover when preserving the look of the table matters, an opaque desk pad makes more sense when you want to cover it instead.

Technical overview

• Material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
• Size: 30" L x 16" W
• Color: Transparent
• Shape: Rectangular
• Design: Rounded edges

The transparent finish lets the desktop show through, and the pad can also hold a to-do list or other important information beneath it for reference while you work. Its PVC construction is described as waterproof, oil-proof, and heat-resistant. The smooth writing surface works for writing or drawing, while rounded edges provide a smooth border around the mat. Use a cloth to wipe away stains, or clean the surface with water.

What it works with

This desk protector is suited to office desks, computer desks, and dining tables. Its clear design is especially useful when you want to protect a textured tabletop or a surface covered with a tablecloth without covering up its appearance. On a work desk, keep notes beneath the mat where they remain visible while leaving the top available for writing. On a dining table, the waterproof surface is easy to wipe clean after everyday use.

If the pad arrives rolled, lay it in the reverse roll direction and press it with heavy items to help it lie flat. This simple setup tip is useful before placing it on the desk or table.

Best use cases

Choose this mat for a workspace that needs a clear surface protector as well as a smooth area for writing, drawing, or organizing notes. Its 30" x 16" format gives you a defined area for desk tasks, while the transparent material keeps the original desktop visible. It can also suit a shared family surface: children can draw on the smooth top, and the pad can be wiped clean afterward.

Buyers often highlight the appearance, surface protection, and ease of cleaning. Feedback is mixed on how flat the mat stays and whether it remains in place, and some buyers mention discoloration or staining. These experiences vary, but they offer useful context if you are comparing a clear, wipe-clean desk cover with a conventional opaque pad.

Practical questions

Can I see the desktop through the mat? Yes. The pad is transparent, so it is designed to keep the table's original look visible. You can also place notes or a to-do list beneath it.

How do I clean it? Wipe stains with a dishcloth, or clean the PVC surface with water.

How can I help it lie flat? Lay it in the reverse direction from its roll and press it with heavy items.

Final verdict

The Oterri clear desk pad is a practical fit for anyone who wants a smooth writing and drawing surface while keeping a desktop visible. Its transparent PVC construction, wipe-clean surface, and rounded edges make it useful for desks and tables where everyday protection and a clear view of the surface both matter.
