AFIING D-4817-Black 48" x 17" PU Leather Desk Mat, Black, Water-Resistant

At 48" x 17", the AFIING D-4817-Black desk mat gives your keyboard, mouse, and writing area one continuous surface. Its black PU faux leather top is smooth for everyday desk tasks, while the suede backing helps keep the mat in place.

The water-resistant surface is easy to wipe clean, and the broad rectangular format helps protect the desktop from spills, ink, and scratches.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the mat with the smooth side facing up and the suede backing against the desk. It is designed for single-side use. Use the surface for typing, mouse work, or writing, then wipe it with a damp cloth or paper towel when it needs cleaning. Its size also makes it useful for keeping a laptop and desk accessories together within a defined work area.

For a typical home-office setup, the mat can sit beneath a keyboard and mouse, with room alongside for notes or a laptop. Instead of arranging a small mouse pad and a separate desk protector, this format combines both roles across a larger section of the desktop.

Where it shines

This desk mat is suited to workstations where the desktop sees a mix of computer use and handwriting. The smooth PU leather surface provides a place for both, while the water-resistant finish helps shield the desk from everyday spills and marks. Its black color gives the workspace a simple, coordinated look, and the suede underside adds grip against the desk.

Buyers describe the surface as smooth and soft to the touch, and some appreciate using it for both mouse work and writing. Feedback about grip and mouse movement varies, so the way it feels can depend on the desk and mouse in use.
