Nexiview RB1 14x14x1 MERV 8 Reusable Electrostatic Furnace Filter
Product description
For routine furnace or HVAC upkeep, the Nexiview RB1 offers a washable alternative to disposable filters. Its 14 x 14 x 1-inch format is made for a filter slot with matching dimensions. Choose a cleanable filter for ongoing maintenance, or a disposable one when you prefer to replace rather than wash it.
Who it’s for
This filter is designed for residential furnace and HVAC use, including compatible AC systems. It suits households looking for a reusable option and a straightforward cleaning routine: remove the filter, wash it with water and mild detergent, let it air-dry, then reinstall it. The manufacturer recommends cleaning every three months.
The listed dimensions make it especially relevant when replacing a filter in a 14 x 14 x 1-inch slot. Matching the filter dimensions to the slot is a practical first step, customer feedback on fit is mixed, with some reporting a good fit and others reporting sizing differences.
Pros
The aluminum frame gives the filter a sturdy structure, while its pleated layers provide the filtering surface. The manufacturer states that the electrostatic filter captures up to 92% of pollen and pet hair. Its MERV 8 rating gives shoppers a clear filtration specification to compare when choosing a replacement.
Reusable construction changes the maintenance routine: instead of disposing of the filter at each replacement, you can wash and reinstall it. Buyers frequently appreciate its washable design and easy installation. Feedback on dust collection is mixed, however, some customers say it catches fine dust, while others report no noticeable change in dust levels. These are individual impressions, not a guaranteed result for every home or system.
