ICEPURE RWF0600AH Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack, NSF/ANSI 401, 53 & 42

For a refrigerator that uses a GE MWF-style cartridge, the ICEPURE RWF0600AH 3-pack provides replacement filters designed for compatible GE models and related filter references. Tool-free installation makes changing a cartridge straightforward, while the listed contaminant reductions give you specific filtration information to consider when choosing a replacement.

Each filter is certified to NSF/ANSI 401, 53, and 42, the materials are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for low lead. The three-filter pack gives you replacement cartridges for future changes.

Best use cases

Choose this cartridge for a compatible refrigerator that takes a GE MWF, MWFP, MWFA, MWFAP, MWFINT, GWF, GWFA, HWF, HWFA, or HDX FMG-1-style filter. The compatible refrigerator list includes models such as GE DSS25KGREBB, GE GFSS2KEYCSS, and GE GSE25GSHECSS. The filter is also listed as a replacement for WFC1201 and Smartwater references. Match the refrigerator’s filter type with the listed compatible models before installing.

This option is especially practical when you want a refrigerator cartridge rather than a separate filtration setup. For example, replacing the filter in a compatible GE refrigerator keeps the filtration in the appliance’s existing format, without switching to a different system. Its tool-free installation supports a simple cartridge change as part of routine refrigerator maintenance.

Why it’s worth it

The certifications are paired with stated reductions for specific substances. Under NSF/ANSI 401, the filter reduces phenytoin by 99.47%, ibuprofen by 97.57%, naproxen by 99.15%, estrone by 99.30%, bisphenol A by 99.49%, and nonylphenol by 99.39%. Under NSF/ANSI 53, it reduces lead by 99.60%, mercury by 89.30%, and PFOA and PFOS by 96.8%. These figures help shoppers compare cartridge filters by the contaminants they address, rather than relying only on a general claim about water quality.

Buyers describe the perceived value positively, while feedback on functionality is mixed: some say the filter works well, and one buyer felt its filtration did not match reverse osmosis. That distinction can help clarify the choice: this product is a replacement cartridge for compatible refrigerators, while reverse osmosis is a different filtration approach.
