Simply MERV 11 16x20x1 Air Filter, 6-Pack, Pleated HVAC Filters

Homes and workspaces that need filtration for dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles can use a MERV 11 filter sized for a 16x20x1 slot. This Simply six-pack is designed for residential HVAC systems. Its pleated construction provides filtration across the filter surface. The actual dimensions are 15.75" x 19.75" x 0.75".

Strengths

MERV 11 filtration is designed to capture common airborne particles, including dust, mold, pet dander, pollen, and auto exhaust. That makes this filter a practical choice for routine air filtration in a home, office, school, or other indoor space. The pleated design gives the filter more surface area for particle capture than a flat panel, while the hot-rolled steel wire mesh supports its construction.

The six-pack keeps replacement filters on hand, so you can replace the filter as part of regular HVAC care rather than buying one at a time. The nominal 16x20x1 size fits compatible air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps. Simply lists an actual size of 15.75" x 19.75" x 0.75", which is useful when matching a replacement to the filter slot rather than relying on the nominal size alone.

What to know

This is a slide-in, rectangular filter made with pleated media, cardboard, paper, and a steel wire mesh. For installation, match the filter's actual dimensions to the housing, then orient it according to the airflow arrows before sliding it into the slot. It can be used in a central HVAC filter slot or a return grille. The product description recommends filtration for up to three months, follow the replacement timing appropriate for your system and use.

Buyer feedback is positive about the filter's operation and its ability to help clean indoor air, while fit and sturdiness comments are mixed. Some buyers say the filter fits well and feels reasonably sturdy, others report that it does not sit securely in their housing or describe the frame as flimsy. Checking the actual dimensions against your existing filter and slot can help you select the right fit. Compared with buying replacement filters individually, a six-pack is a straightforward way to keep several scheduled changes on hand.

Best use cases

Choose this filter for a compatible 16x20x1 residential HVAC system when MERV 11 filtration suits your household's needs. It is relevant for spaces where dust, pollen, or pet dander are concerns, and it can also be used with compatible air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps. Its multi-pack format works well for households or facilities that prefer to keep replacement filters available for ongoing maintenance.

Final verdict

Simply's MERV 11 six-pack combines a familiar nominal size with clearly stated actual dimensions and pleated construction. It is a useful fit for people who want filters for compatible home HVAC equipment and value having replacements ready for routine changes.
