Smilyan HC14 Filter E Humidifier Replacement Wicks, Blue Mesh, 3-Pack
Product description
Key specifications
For a Honeywell humidifier that uses a Filter E wick, this Smilyan replacement pack offers a direct way to refresh the unit’s wicking filter. The blue pre-filter layer and paper construction serve distinct roles in the filter’s design.
- Type: HC-14 Filter E replacement wicking humidifier filter
- What’s included: 3 replacement filters
- Material: FSC-Certified paper
- Color: Blue mesh pre-filter layer
The filter is designed to capture minerals and impurities from humidifier water, while the blue layer helps trap larger particles. Its wicking format is intended to support moisture output as part of the humidifier’s normal operation. For shoppers choosing between a replacement wick and a different humidifier accessory, the key distinction is that this pack is specifically for compatible HC-14 Filter E units.
Compatibility
These filters are listed for Honeywell HC-14V1, HC-14, and HC-14N units, as well as Filter E humidifiers in the HEV-680 and HEV-685 series. Compatibility also includes HEV-680B, HEV-680W, HEV-685B, and HEV-685W, plus HCM-6009 and HCM-6011 series models, including HCM-6011i, HCM-6011WW, HCM-6012i, and HCM-6013i. The listed range also covers HM-3500, HM-3600, SCM-3500, and SCM-3600 series humidifiers. Match the model number on your humidifier with this list before choosing a replacement.
In a practical home setup, the wick sits in the compatible humidifier and interacts with its water as the unit operates. The filter’s mineral-capturing function and blue layer’s particle-trapping role make this a relevant replacement for maintaining the filter component in that routine. The three-filter pack gives you multiple replacements for planned changes over time.
Who it’s for
This pack is for owners of the listed Honeywell humidifier models who need an HC-14 Filter E replacement. It’s a useful fit when you want to replace the wicking filter itself rather than shop for a different humidifier part. The three-pack is also suited to households that prefer to keep replacement filters on hand. Buyers mention a good fit, while feedback on functionality and quality is mixed, some report satisfactory operation, and others raise concerns about wicking performance and filter life, including reports of problems after about a month. Feedback on value is also mixed, so experiences vary.
