Silonn SLIM39TA-BA Detachable 168 Wh Battery for SLIM39 Ice Makers

Some ice-making setups stay close to a power source, while others need to travel with you. The Silonn SLIM39TA-BA detachable battery adds portable power for compatible Silonn appliances. Its 168 Wh capacity supports ice making away from a fixed outlet. Take it along for camping, RV trips, or a day at the beach.

Key points

This rechargeable lithium battery is rated at 15600 mAh and 168 Wh, with a voltage of 10.8 V. Silonn states it can extend an ice maker’s operating time by up to 3 hours while making ice cubes. That added runtime is useful when you want to keep making ice during an outing without carrying a bulky energy storage battery.

Compatibility is specific: the battery is designed for Silonn SLIM39 series ice makers and the SLCAF01 series car refrigerator. It is a detachable power source for those appliances, rather than a general-purpose battery for other equipment. For an RV ice-making setup or outdoor use with a compatible Silonn model, that focused design makes it easier to bring power along with the appliance.

Getting the most from it

To charge the battery, place it in the compatible ice maker. The maker lists charging through the appliance using DC 12/24 V or AC 100–240 V, as well as solar-panel charging. The adapter is not included, so plan your charging setup around the power source and charging method you intend to use. Once charged, the battery can travel with the appliance, helping keep the setup self-contained for a campsite or other outing.

The battery measures 5.0 x 3.5 x 3.0 inches. Its detachable format suits users who want a dedicated power add-on for a compatible ice maker, rather than carrying a separate bulky energy storage unit. Keep the model compatibility in mind when choosing: the SLIM39TA-BA is intended for the specified Silonn appliance series.

Best use cases

For an RV trip, place the battery in a compatible SLIM39 ice maker and bring the unit along to make ice away from a fixed outlet. It also suits camping and beach outings where portable ice making is useful. If you already own a compatible Silonn ice maker, the battery provides a way to extend its use without relying on a bulky external energy storage battery.

This is a more targeted choice than looking for a general-purpose portable battery: it is made to work with designated Silonn appliances and is intended to support their operation. That makes it particularly relevant when your main goal is bringing a compatible ice maker along, rather than powering a range of different devices.
