MYSUNORIA Transparent Glass Chair Mat 48x60, 0.19" Tempered Glass

Some workspaces need a clear floor protector that blends into the room, others need a firm surface for a rolling chair over carpet. The MYSUNORIA glass chair mat addresses both needs with one transparent, rigid surface. Its 48" x 60" size provides a defined area beneath a desk chair while keeping the floor visible.

The tempered glass forms a smooth, rigid barrier between chair casters and the floor. On carpet, its structure helps prevent the chair from sinking into the pile, on hard floors, it helps shield the surface from caster scratches. The clear finish lets the carpet or flooring pattern remain visible, so the mat can protect a work area without covering its appearance. Integrated non-slip pads help keep it in place during use, and the smooth surface is designed for quiet chair movement.

Who it’s for

This mat is suited to home offices, studies, gaming rooms, and other work areas where a desk chair rolls over carpet or a hard floor. It also works on hardwood, laminate, and tile, making it useful when the chair setup may move between different rooms or floor types. The 60" x 48" rectangular footprint gives the chair a broad working area, while the 0.19" tempered-glass construction offers a rigid alternative to a flexible mat. Choose this approach when you want a transparent floor barrier with a firm rolling surface rather than a soft, flexible covering.

Buyers commonly highlight easy chair movement, the mat staying in place, and the sense of protection it provides for carpet. They also describe the glass as durable. Its 49-pound weight is worth factoring into placement: plan where it will sit before positioning it beneath the desk.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the mat in the chair’s working area so the casters can roll across the protected surface. For routine cleaning, wipe the non-porous glass with a damp cloth, the smooth surface resists dust and stains and is straightforward to maintain. The transparent finish also keeps the flooring visible around the workspace, which can help the mat feel visually integrated rather than like a solid-colored desk accessory.

Buying verdict

For a workspace that needs protection across carpet or hard flooring, this MYSUNORIA mat combines a clear appearance with a firm, smooth rolling surface. Its tempered glass construction, integrated non-slip pads, and 1,000-pound capacity make it a practical choice for placing beneath a desk chair, while the 48" x 60" footprint covers a substantial chair area. It’s a great fit if you want floor protection that preserves the look of the room and supports everyday chair movement.
