Kuyal AX-OF008-h 30 x 48-Inch Transparent Carpet Chair Mat

Set up a desk on low-pile carpet and give your office chair a defined surface to roll across. The Kuyal AX-OF008-h chair mat is a clear, rectangular PVC mat designed for carpeted home and office workspaces.

Its transparent finish keeps the carpet visible, while the studded underside helps the mat stay in place. The surface supports easy chair movement and helps protect carpet from friction and scratches.

At 30 x 48 inches, it gives a desk chair a dedicated area without covering the whole room. What makes a clear mat useful in a carpeted workspace? It helps protect the floor while keeping its appearance in view.

Everyday use

Place the mat beneath a desk chair on low- or no-pile carpet. Its raised underside grips the carpet, and the smooth, treated top is made for chair use. This creates a consistent area for moving the chair in and out at a desk, whether the workspace is in a home office or a shared office setting.

The clear finish is a practical alternative to an opaque floor covering when you want the carpet’s color and pattern to remain visible. The rectangular shape fits a straightforward desk setup, and the 30 x 48-inch size offers a defined zone for the chair. For a workspace with low- or no-pile carpet, the mat combines floor protection with a surface intended for easy gliding.

Pros

The studded underside is designed to hold the mat firmly on carpet, helping it stay positioned as the chair moves. By separating chair movement from the carpet, the mat helps reduce friction and protect against wear and scratches in a frequently used desk area.

PVC construction makes the surface easy to wipe clean with a cloth. Its transparent finish helps preserve the look of the carpet underneath, so the mat serves a practical purpose without visually covering the floor. Compared with choosing a more opaque mat, this clear design suits buyers who want a protective layer while keeping the carpet visible.

Highlights

The mat measures 48 inches long by 30 inches wide and is 0.09 inches thick. It has a rectangular shape, transparent color, and minimalist style. One side has a textured plane, while the underside has raised studs for carpet grip. Use it on low- or no-pile carpet, as intended for this design.

The mat arrives rolled. To help it flatten, lay it out and place weight on curled corners, the manufacturer notes that more weight helps the corners recover sooner. Once in place, routine cleaning is simple: wipe the surface with a cloth.
