PHOUZIN 002 Clear PVC Chair Mat, 36 x 48 Inches, 0.3-Inch Thick

At 36 x 48 inches and 0.3 inches thick, the PHOUZIN 002 chair mat creates a clear protective surface for a rolling chair on hard floors. Its transparent PVC lets the floor remain visible, while the rectangular, no-lip shape provides a defined area beneath a desk and chair.

Choose it to protect a hardwood work area while keeping the flooring pattern in view. Its smooth surface is designed for chair wheels to glide across, and the mat can also serve under plants, crates, or other items on a hard floor.

How it fits

Place the mat on a hard, level floor beneath the desk chair to create a barrier between the floor and everyday chair movement. It is intended for hard surfaces such as hardwood, tile, linoleum, and vinyl. The clear finish suits a workspace where you want floor protection without covering the look of the flooring, for a setup where appearance matters less than having a different surface underfoot, an opaque mat is another approach.

The mat ships rolled. To help it lie flat, unroll it and place heavy objects on the curled areas for 12–24 hours. This simple setup step is useful when arranging a new home office or refreshing a desk space.

Benefits

The fine-tuned surface is designed to let office chair wheels move freely, helping make it easier to reposition at a desk. A rubber anti-slip backing is intended to help keep the mat in place during use. Its heavy-duty construction is described as resistant to scratches, cracking, bending, breakage, and discoloration from casters and daily abrasion, making it a practical layer between chair traffic and the floor.

The transparent finish keeps the floor visible beneath the mat, while the wipe-clean surface makes routine care straightforward. Beyond a desk chair, its rigid construction can be used under plants, ornaments, craft supplies, or a dog crate on a hard floor. Buyers appreciate the clarity and find the size useful in home and office settings. Feedback on mobility is mixed: some say chairs glide easily, while others mention curling edges or the mat shifting, so experiences with movement vary.
