Azadx AZDPET-01 Heavy-Duty Carpet Chair Mat, Clear PET, 32" x 48
Product description
At 32" x 48", the Azadx AZDPET-01 gives a carpeted desk area a clear, hard surface for an office chair. Its PET construction lets chair wheels glide across the mat, while the transparent finish keeps the carpet visible underneath. The rectangular shape provides a defined area around a desk for everyday work or gaming.
The mat ships flat, so it is ready to place on the carpet without unrolling. A lightly textured top and spike-style dots on the underside are designed to support chair movement while helping the mat stay in place on most carpets.
Best use cases
Use this mat to protect carpet beneath a desk chair and create a firmer rolling surface in a home office or gaming setup. The clear finish suits spaces where you want to cover the area under the chair without hiding the carpet pattern. Its 32" x 48" footprint offers a defined zone for moving a chair back and forth at a desk.
What makes a hard mat a practical choice for carpet? It separates chair wheels from the carpet while providing a smooth surface for rolling. The hard PET format also offers an alternative to a flexible mat, and its rounded corners give the edges a finished shape.

Where it shines
The textured upper surface is designed to make chair movement easier, while the underside’s spike-style dots help secure the mat to most carpets. That combination makes it useful for a desk area where a chair needs to roll regularly and the carpet needs a protective layer. Because the mat is transparent, the flooring remains part of the room’s appearance rather than being covered by an opaque surface.
Buyer feedback praises its appearance, thickness, and use on carpet, including thicker carpet. Reports on durability and stability are mixed: some buyers say it holds up well, while others mention cracking or movement. Feedback on flatness also varies, with some reporting curled edges. Size opinions differ as well, so the listed 32" x 48" dimensions are useful when deciding how much of the chair area you want to cover.
Before you decide
What are the mat’s dimensions? It measures 32" long by 48" wide and is 0.09" thick, making it a rectangular mat for a defined area beneath a desk chair.
What is it made of? The mat is made from hard polyethylene terephthalate, or PET, and has a clear finish that leaves the carpet visible.
How is it designed to stay on carpet? Spike-style dots on the underside are intended to help secure it to most carpets. The product is made for carpeted floors.
