LeapYouth 48" x 36" Clear PVC Carpet Chair Mat with Non-Slip Backing
Product description
Usage tips
The studded underside helps hold this clear chair mat in place on low- and flat-pile carpet, while the smooth top gives desk-chair casters a surface to roll across. Use it beneath your chair in a home office or workspace to help protect the carpet from wear caused by moving casters.
Position the mat where your chair moves during the workday so its wheels can roll across the protective surface. Its transparent finish keeps the carpet visible beneath it.

What stands out
This mat is designed specifically for carpeted floors. Its studded backing grips the carpet, and its PVC surface provides a defined rolling area for a computer or desk chair. That combination makes it a practical alternative to placing a chair directly on carpet, especially in a workspace where the chair moves between a desk and nearby work areas.
The clear surface lets the carpet remain visible, so the mat protects the area under the chair without covering up the floor’s appearance. The rectangular 48" x 36" footprint suits a focused desk-chair zone. Compared with a larger floor covering, this format keeps protection centered around the chair, choose it when the main goal is to create a rolling surface at a workstation.
Buyer feedback is mixed. Some customers say the mat helps their chairs roll more easily, while others report difficulty moving their chairs across it. Durability is also a concern in some reviews, including reports of cracks after about a year and wheel dents. Some buyers describe difficulty unrolling the mat so it lies flat, and others say it sinks into the carpet. These experiences are worth weighing alongside the mat’s carpet-specific backing and clear PVC surface when choosing a chair mat.
