RccugmatS RccugmatS PVC Chair Mat, 60 x 47-Inch, Desert Linen

Key specifications

The woven-look PVC surface gives this chair mat the appearance of a desk rug while creating a rolling area beneath your chair. Its 60 x 47-inch rectangular shape covers a generous section of hard flooring, and the Desert Linen color brings a neutral, textured look to a home office or workplace. A grippy underside helps the mat stay in position, while the top is designed for chair wheels to roll across it.

• Material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
• Size: 60 x 47 inches
• Thickness: 0.16 inch
• Color: Desert Linen
• Shape: Rectangular
• Recommended surface: Hard floors

The mat is described as water- and oil-resistant, with an overlocking edge that helps a chair move onto the surface smoothly. The woven-style pattern offers a different look from a plain, transparent floor protector, while the PVC construction provides a defined area for everyday desk-chair movement.

Best use cases

Place it beneath a rolling office chair on hardwood or tile to help shield the floor from wheel-related scratches and marks. It can also cover existing scratches or stains, making it useful when you want to refresh the look of the area under a desk without changing the flooring. The textured, linen-inspired appearance suits setups where a clear plastic mat would feel out of place.

For a desk where the chair moves frequently, the 60 x 47-inch footprint gives the wheels room to travel across the mat. If your priority is a decorative floor covering rather than a dedicated rolling surface, a conventional rug serves a different purpose, this mat combines a rug-like look with a surface designed for chair mobility. Customer comments often praise the appearance, smooth rolling, and how readily the mat lies flat. Feedback on staying in place is mixed: some customers find it remains steady, while others say it needs repositioning.

Usage tips

Set the mat on a hard floor and position it so the chair’s usual movement stays within the rectangular surface. Let the overlocking edge guide the chair onto the mat, then roll across the textured top as you work. The underside is designed to grip the floor, so place the mat directly where you want the chair zone before settling into your desk setup. Its water- and oil-resistant surface is also practical in a work area where small spills may occur, wipe the surface as needed to keep the mat looking tidy.

When it makes sense

It’s a great fit if you want a hard-floor chair protector that looks more like a woven desk rug than a plain floor mat. The PVC surface, rolling-friendly top, grippy backing, and Desert Linen finish bring together floor coverage and a coordinated workspace look. Choose it for a home or office desk on hardwood or tile when you want a defined area for chair movement and a decorative finish that blends with the room.
