MALLRACE Laptop 15.6-inch

If your priority is a laptop for classes, office work, and everyday multitasking, this MALLRACE model offers more memory and storage than a bare-bones setup. Its Intel Core i5-12600H, 24GB of LPDDR5 memory, and 512GB SSD give it room for several apps and files at once, while Intel Iris Xe graphics point to general visual tasks rather than a dedicated-graphics focus. The 15.6-inch Full HD screen and 180-degree hinge also suit shared work and video calls. One practical limit: the listing gives battery capacity but no runtime figure, so it doesn’t establish how long a charge will last in your routine.

Key specifications

The laptop runs Windows 11 and uses a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12600H processor with 12 cores, 16 threads, and a stated boost speed of up to 4.5GHz. Its 24GB of LPDDR5 memory is listed at 4800MHz, with a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD for apps, documents, and media. The maker says the dual M.2 slots support up to 4TB of total storage, that expansion claim is worth distinguishing from the 512GB installed capacity.

The 15.6-inch, 16:9 Full HD display is paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics. For connectivity, the listing specifies WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, three USB 3.2 ports, HDMI 1.4, and two Type-C ports. There’s also a 1MP webcam with a physical privacy switch. The plastic body weighs 1.65kg, and the battery is rated at 54.72Wh. No measured battery-life estimate is provided, so treat the all-day-power wording according to the maker rather than as a guaranteed result.

Who it’s for

This setup is aimed at students and business users who want one machine for writing papers, keeping browser tabs open, joining a video meeting, and presenting work. For example, you could draft a report on the Full HD screen, switch to a video call, then connect a display over HDMI for a presentation. The 180-degree hinge may also make it easier to angle the screen toward someone sitting across a desk.

It makes sense if you value a generous memory allocation and built-in webcam privacy control for everyday work. The listed graphics are Intel Iris Xe, so shoppers whose main priority is demanding graphics performance should compare laptops that explicitly specify dedicated graphics. That’s a different buying priority from general study, office tasks, and streaming.

Everyday use

The port selection gives you options for connecting accessories and an external display, while WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 cover wireless networking and peripherals. Those details can help reduce the need to rely entirely on wireless accessories when setting up a desk. The webcam’s physical privacy switch is useful after a call when you want a visible, direct way to block the camera.

The main trade-off is that the listing doesn’t give a battery runtime, display brightness, or webcam resolution beyond 1MP. If you frequently work away from an outlet, or need a particularly detailed camera image, those missing details matter more than the processor headline. A simpler laptop may suit document-only use, this one is more appealing when multitasking memory, ports, and a larger screen are part of the brief.

Questions before you buy

Can you add storage? The listing describes two M.2 slots and support for up to 4TB total storage. It does not specify an included second drive.

Does the webcam have a privacy control? Yes. The listed 1MP webcam includes a physical privacy switch.

What wireless connections are included? WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are specified for network access and pairing wireless peripherals.

When it makes sense

Choose this laptop if you want a Windows 11 computer for study or business tasks, with 24GB of memory, a 512GB SSD, and a 15.6-inch Full HD screen. Not the best choice if your decision depends on a stated battery runtime or dedicated graphics performance, neither is established in the product details. For mixed office work, classes, calls, and presentations, its listed hardware is the more relevant part of the offer.
