HP Touchscreen Laptop with 15.6-inch Display

If you mainly need a straightforward laptop for typing and browsing, a touchscreen may not matter much. This HP adds tap, swipe, and pinch controls to a 15.6-inch Full HD display, alongside a processor, memory, and storage setup aimed at handling work, school, and everyday multitasking.

Picture moving between a spreadsheet, a video meeting, and a presentation at your desk, then using touch to zoom in on a chart. Would that kind of direct interaction make your routine easier? The numeric keypad and built-in webcam also suit regular desk work and remote calls.

How to use it

The 15.6-inch screen gives you a larger workspace than a compact laptop, while its 1920 x 1080 resolution and IPS panel are suited to documents, presentations, and streaming. The anti-glare coating may help reduce reflections, and the 300-nit brightness is a useful detail to weigh if you often work in bright spaces. That figure alone doesn’t establish how comfortable the screen will be in direct sunlight.

For a typical work session, you could enter figures on the full-size keyboard, join a call with the 720p HP True Vision camera and dual-array microphones, then use the touchscreen to navigate a document. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 cover wireless connections, while HP Fast Charge is intended to reduce time spent plugged in, the listing doesn’t specify charging time or battery life.

It’s a great fit if you want touch input, a numeric keypad, and room for a mix of productivity and everyday tasks. It’s not for you if your priority is a smaller, lighter-to-carry laptop: this model weighs 4.6 lbs. From the way it is set up, it favors a larger screen and built-in work features over portability above all else.

Pros

• 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD give you room for files and everyday multitasking.
• The Intel Core Ultra 5 125H has 14 cores and 18 threads, paired with Intel Arc graphics.
• The touchscreen, anti-glare IPS display, and numeric keypad offer practical flexibility for desk-based work.
• Windows 11 Home is preinstalled, and the listing includes privacy features for the camera.

The main tradeoff is that the listed graphics are Intel Arc, there’s no dedicated graphics option specified for buyers choosing a laptop around demanding graphics work. And while the display’s 300-nit rating is stated, the product details don’t give battery-life figures, so all-day unplugged use is difficult to assess from the listing alone.

Should you buy it?

It offers more interaction options than a basic non-touch setup, and the listed processor and memory are geared toward a varied everyday workload. Those needs aren’t answered by the product details here.
