NIMO Laptop, 17.3-inch

For a desk setup that needs room for side-by-side windows, a 17.3-inch laptop can be more comfortable than a compact notebook. The NIMO pairs that larger screen with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB SSD.

Its Full HD display is listed at 144Hz, while Radeon 890M integrated graphics handle visuals without a separate graphics card.

If you prioritize a big built-in screen and generous memory, this setup makes sense, if you prefer a smaller, easier-to-carry laptop or need dedicated graphics, look elsewhere.

Getting the most from it

The spacious screen is useful when you’re comparing documents, keeping a reference open beside a work window, or reviewing a wide spreadsheet without constantly switching tabs. The 180-degree hinge can also lay flat for sharing what’s on screen across a table. It’s a practical fit for a home office, study area, or other setup where screen space matters more than compact dimensions.

The 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD give you room for multitasking and local files, while the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is paired with an NPU rated at 50 TOPS. The product is marketed as a Copilot+ AI laptop, though the listing alone doesn’t show how any particular AI app will perform. For a quick desk setup, connect a monitor or accessories through the listed USB4, HDMI 2.1, or USB-A ports, an SD card reader and 3.5mm audio jack are included as well.

Why it’s worth it

This configuration brings together a large display, substantial memory, and a high-capacity SSD, so you don’t have to start with a bare-bones laptop and immediately plan around memory or storage constraints. You’ll appreciate it if you want one machine for everyday work, creative projects, and entertainment, and value a roomy screen over a smaller travel-first design.

The 75Wh battery and included 100W USB-C Power Delivery charger add flexibility, but the listing doesn’t state runtime, so battery capacity alone can’t tell you how long it will last away from an outlet. Without having tried it, the most useful distinction is the graphics approach: Radeon 890M is integrated, rather than a discrete GPU. That keeps the configuration centered on a single-chip design, but buyers choosing a laptop primarily for demanding graphics workloads may prefer a model with dedicated graphics.

Key features

The product listing specifies a 17.3-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, Radeon 890M graphics, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB SSD. It also lists Wi-Fi 6E, a fingerprint reader, Windows 11, USB4, HDMI 2.1, and a two-year warranty. The listing describes two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots for expansion, it doesn’t give details about the included drive layout or the upgrade process.

Final verdict

Choose the NIMO if you want a large-screen Windows laptop with 64GB of memory, ample listed storage, and a fast-refresh display for a mixed work-and-entertainment setup. It’s not for you if portability is the main priority, or if your decision depends on having a discrete GPU or a stated battery runtime. Those are the trade-offs to weigh against its roomy format and broad port selection.
