LinkDocs Black Ink Cartridges, 280XXL

The 280XXL format is the main draw: each PGBK black cartridge is listed for up to 600 pages, giving frequent black-text printing a longer replacement interval if your actual coverage is similar. LinkDocs supplies two cartridges, so you have a spare ready when the first runs out. The stated yield is based on 5% coverage on letter-size paper and will vary with the printer and how you print.

These are replacement cartridges for specific Canon printer models, not a color-ink set. Match your exact printer model before buying.

How to use it

Use these cartridges when your compatible printer needs PGBK black ink, such as for reports, school assignments, or everyday documents. Picture printing a stack of text-heavy pages before a meeting: the two-pack gives you another cartridge on hand rather than requiring you to source one immediately after the first is depleted. It is a more focused purchase than a mixed-color bundle, but it will not replenish any other ink color.

The listed compatible models include the PIXMA TR8620a, TR8520, TR8620, TR7520, TR8500, TR8600, TR8220, TS9120, TS6120, TS6220, TS6300, TS6320, TS8320, TS8322, TS8300, TS8120, TS8220, TS8222, TS9100, TS9520, and TS9521C, among others in the provided compatibility list. Is your printer one of those exact models? Check the model name rather than relying only on a shared cartridge number, especially if your printer has received a firmware update. The listing says the cartridges use smart chips for compatibility with updated printer firmware, but it does not guarantee performance in every setup.

Pros

• Two black PGBK cartridges are included, which means you have a replacement ready after the first is used.
• The stated yield of up to 600 pages per cartridge may suit regular document printing, though it is not a promise of the page count you will get.
• A broad list of compatible Canon models makes this worth considering if you need this specific cartridge type and have confirmed your printer is listed.

It’s a great fit if you mainly print black text and want two replacements in one purchase. Better avoided if you need color ink, your printer model is not listed, or a precise page yield matters more than the stated estimate.

Spec sheet

• Name: LinkDocs 280XXL PGBK
• Type: Compatible replacement black ink cartridge
• Format: PGBK black
• Package: Two cartridges
• Page yield: Up to 600 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage on letter-size paper, according to the maker, actual yield depends on the printer and usage.
• Compatibility: Selected Canon PIXMA TR and TS series models listed above

The yield figure is a useful point of comparison, not a guarantee for every document. Pages with dense text, graphics, or heavier ink coverage can use ink differently from the stated test condition. If you print mostly photos or need to replace several colors at once, a black-only two-pack is a less complete solution than buying the ink your print jobs actually require.

Final verdict

Choose the LinkDocs 280XXL pair if your listed Canon printer needs PGBK black and you value having a second cartridge ready. The clearest reason to pass is a mismatch: this pack covers black only, and compatibility depends on your exact printer model. For occasional printing, the stated yield may also matter less than confirming the cartridge type first. Buy it for black-document replenishment, not as a general-purpose ink set.
