E-Z Ink Remanufactured Ink Cartridges 288XL
Product description
Quick overview
For owners of a listed Epson XP printer who need both black and color replacements, this E-Z Ink 288XL pack includes five remanufactured cartridges: two black and one each cyan, magenta, and yellow.
That mix is useful if black ink runs out more often than color, while still keeping a full set of color replacements on hand. It’s a practical alternative to buying only a single cartridge at a time.
The cartridges are described as high-capacity, with stated yields of up to 500 pages per black cartridge and 450 per color cartridge. Those figures assume Letter/A4 pages at 5% coverage, so pages with heavier graphics or large areas of color may use ink faster.
How to use it
Check your printer’s model number before ordering. The listed compatible models are Epson XP-330, XP-340, XP-430, XP-434, XP-440, and XP-446. The 288XL designation matters: don’t assume a cartridge will fit just because your printer is from the same XP family.
The pack contains two black cartridges plus one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow. That balance may suit a home printer used for a mix of documents and occasional color printing. Keep in mind that the page-yield figures are based on light 5% coverage, not a guarantee for every household’s print jobs.
Practical tips
Before choosing this pack, consider what you print most. If your routine is mostly text documents, the extra black cartridge may be useful, if you print color-heavy pages, the single cartridge for each color is the part to pay attention to. For example, a family printing school forms in black and an occasional color worksheet can make use of both parts of the mix, while frequent full-color printing may lead to uneven replacement timing.
The description says the ink is intended to produce crisp text and graphics on plain and glossy paper. That gives a sense of the intended use, but it does not specify performance for particular photo workflows or other paper types. If you rely on a specialized print result, the listed details may not answer every question.
Practical doubts
Which printers are listed as compatible? The stated models are Epson XP-330, XP-340, XP-430, XP-434, XP-440, and XP-446. If your model isn’t on that list, compatibility isn’t established by the provided information.
What comes in the five-pack? Two black cartridges and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow.
How should I interpret the page yields? The stated maximums are up to 500 pages per black cartridge and 450 per color cartridge, using Letter/A4 pages at 5% coverage. Treat these as usage-context figures rather than a promise for pages with dense text or graphics.
When it makes sense
A solid pick if your printer is one of the listed XP models and you want a mixed 288XL replacement pack with an extra black cartridge. Compared with replacing colors individually as they run out, this bundle puts a complete color set and a second black cartridge together, which can be convenient if you prefer to keep replacements on hand.
You may want to skip it if you own a printer outside the compatibility list, need a different color-to-black mix, or want yield figures based on heavier printing. Its appeal comes down to matching the listed printer models and the included cartridge balance to your actual use.
