E-Z Ink 61XL Ink Cartridge 2-Pack for HP Printers, Black and Tri-Color

If your printer uses HP 61 cartridges, this E-Z Ink 61XL pack provides a black cartridge and a tri-color cartridge in one replacement set.

It’s listed for select HP DeskJet, Envy, and OfficeJet models, including the DeskJet 2540, Envy 4500 and 5530, and OfficeJet 4630.

Need both black and color ink on hand? This pack covers those two cartridge types, but it is not compatible with HP+ enrolled printers.

Best use cases

This set makes sense when you need to replace both cartridges in a compatible printer or want black and color ink available together. The listed models include several DeskJet, Envy, and OfficeJet printers, so check your exact printer model against the compatibility information before ordering, matching the cartridge number alone may not be enough to settle fit.

For everyday document printing, the black cartridge handles text while the tri-color cartridge is intended for color output. Buyers describe crisp document prints and pleasing color, though those impressions are not a guarantee of results in every printer. A solid pick if your printer is on the supported list and you want both cartridge types in one pack.

Pros

The main convenience is the straightforward two-cartridge mix: one black and one tri-color. E-Z Ink lists the cartridges as high yield, with up to 712 pages for black and 429 pages for color at 5% coverage on A4 paper. That coverage condition matters when estimating use, pages with more ink coverage may not match the stated yield.

Buyer feedback is positive about color and document clarity, and some buyers say the cartridges work well as replacements. Reports on printer recognition are mixed, however, and buyers also differ on how long the ink lasts. Those varied experiences make the exact printer model and your expected print volume relevant factors, rather than treating the stated yield as a promise for every household.

The essentials

• Name: E-Z Ink 61XL ink cartridge combo pack
• Format: One black cartridge and one tri-color cartridge
• Compatibility: Select HP DeskJet, Envy, and OfficeJet models
• Page yield: Up to 712 pages black and 429 pages color at 5% coverage on A4 paper
• Compatibility limitation: Not compatible with HP+ enrolled printers, which require Original HP ink or toner cartridges

Compared with buying only the color or only the black cartridge, this pack supplies both types together. If you use one color much more heavily than the other, a single-cartridge replacement may be a better fit for your buying pattern. Better avoided if your printer is enrolled in HP+.

What to clarify

Which printers are listed as compatible? The product names select DeskJet, Envy, and OfficeJet models, including DeskJet 2540, Envy 4502 and 5530, and OfficeJet 4630. The full supported-model list is broader, so confirm your exact model against it.

What comes in the pack? One black 61XL cartridge and one tri-color 61XL cartridge.

How many pages should I expect? The listing states up to 712 pages for black and 429 for color at 5% coverage on A4 paper. Actual output can vary with coverage, and buyer reports on cartridge duration are mixed.

Should you buy it?

Choose this set when your printer is a listed, non-HP+ model and you want black and color replacements together. Its stated yields offer a reference point, not a dependable page count for every print routine, and customer reports on recognition and duration are not uniform. If avoiding compatibility uncertainty is your priority, an Original HP cartridge is the stated requirement for HP+ enrolled printers, for other models, confirm the exact printer before choosing this replacement pack.
