Tech summary

• Size: XX-Large
• Dimensions: 28 x 20 x 12 inches
• Material: Stainless steel and ABS
• Color: Dark gray
• Capacity: Holds up to 60 liters of litter
• Included features: Lid, footboard, and litter scoop

The stainless steel interior does not absorb stains or odors like plastic can, and its smooth bottom is designed to release litter during cleaning. The 12-inch walls help contain scattered litter and accidents, while the overlapping seal and secured lid add another layer of mess control. The footboard helps catch tracked litter as cats exit, and its design supports access for older or short-legged cats. Together, these features make the box easier to manage as part of a regular litter-cleaning routine.

What it works with

Made for cats, this extra-large box is suited to big indoor cats, including Maine Coons, as well as homes with multiple cats. Its spacious interior gives larger cats more room to turn around and dig than a standard-size box. The footboard is a useful detail for cats that benefit from an easier step, while the high sides support cats that scatter litter during digging.

Best use cases

This format is especially useful in a home where a smaller litter box feels cramped for a large cat or where several cats share a litter area. The generous interior accommodates movement, and the high walls help keep litter inside the box during active digging. For example, placing it in a suitable litter area gives a large cat space to settle and cover waste, while the footboard helps reduce tracked litter around the exit. Its 60-liter litter capacity can also mean fewer refills compared with a box that holds less litter.

Buyers often highlight the roomy size, stainless steel construction, odor control, and ease of cleaning. They also appreciate the high sides for containing litter. Feedback on the scoop is mixed: some find it easy to use, while one buyer notes that its length can make maneuvering harder. These comments can help set expectations for the included accessory without changing the box’s core appeal: a roomy steel pan designed for convenient maintenance.

When it makes sense

Choose this ICYAIR box when your priority is giving a large cat or a multi-cat household more litter space, while keeping cleanup practical with a smooth stainless steel interior. Compared with a conventional plastic box, its steel surface offers a non-absorbent alternative, and the included footboard, lid, and scoop bring several useful parts of the setup together. It suits you if you have room for an extra-large litter area and want high sides to help contain mess. For large indoor cats, the generous dimensions and easy-clean surface are the main reasons to make it part of the daily routine.
