Its capacity and multi-cat support make it suited to households looking to simplify litter-box maintenance.
The bundle also adds a litter mat, four refill bag rolls, and an extended two-year protection plan. With odor and leak-control features built into the unit, it brings several practical parts of daily litter care together.

Practical tips
The open top provides a spacious, visible area that can feel more familiar to cats accustomed to a traditional litter box. It is also designed with larger breeds in mind. For smaller kittens, the dedicated Kitten Manual Mode offers a separate operating option. The stated weight range is 3.3–33 lbs, so match the mode and setup to your cat’s size.
The Neakasa app lets you monitor litter activity, choose cleaning modes remotely, and follow longer-term habits. Setup requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. During operation, six sensor arrays track movement, and the unit pauses when motion is detected. A built-in brush strip helps contain odors, while a composite sealing ring helps limit litter leakage.
Buyer feedback highlights ease of assembly, litter collection, and odor control. Some owners report that their cats took to the unit readily, while others say their cats were reluctant to step inside. Cat acceptance can vary, so the open, visible design may be a useful consideration when choosing a self-cleaning style. Buyers also have mixed impressions of its size, with some finding it roomy and others considering it larger than a standard box.
Included in the package
The bundle contains the main litter box, four support legs, a litter mat, four refill bag rolls, a user manual, and a quick-start guide. The extra refill rolls distinguish this package from the standard version, while the mat provides a dedicated surface at the box entrance. The two-year protection plan is part of the bundle as well.
Before you decide
How many cats can use the M1 Plus? It is designed for up to three cats, with a stated cat weight range of 3.3–33 lbs. Its 7.2L litter capacity and 11.2L waste bin support the unit’s multi-cat use.
What does the app let me do? With a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, the Neakasa app can show daily litter activity, let you adjust cleaning modes remotely, and track longer-term litter habits.
How does the safety sensing work? The 360° system uses six sensor arrays to track movement in real time. The unit pauses its operation when motion is detected.
Is it worth it?
For a home that wants automated litter-box cleaning without moving to an enclosed design, the M1 Plus brings together an open top, motion-responsive safety, app-based controls, and odor and leak management. The bundle adds the litter mat and four refill bag rolls, and its support for up to three cats makes it a practical fit for multi-cat households seeking a more hands-off approach to routine litter care.
