Medario 01litterbox Covered Cat Litter Box, Blue, with Pull-Out Tray and Mat

For cat owners who want a more contained litter area and a simpler cleanup routine, the Medario covered litter box combines an enclosed design with a pull-out tray. Could one setup work through different growth stages? Its modular design starts as a lower-entry litter tray for kitten training and transitions to an enclosed arrangement for adult cats.

Best use cases

The front-entry, top-exit layout gives cats a defined route through the box, while the enclosed space offers more privacy. A textured surface on the lid helps loosen litter from paws as cats leave, and the included mat helps catch spills around the box. Together, these features suit everyday use in homes where keeping the area around a litter box tidier is a priority.

The 2-in-1 setup is designed to adapt as a cat grows: use the detachable tray for low-entry access during kitten training, then configure the box in enclosed mode for cats 6 months and older. The pull-out drawer also gives you direct access for scooping and litter changes. For apartment living, an RV, or a trip, the foldable design is intended to make assembly, storage, and transport more convenient.

Why it’s worth it

This design brings several practical cleanup features into one setup: a slide-out tray for access to the litter, a scoop for routine maintenance, and a mat to help collect stray litter. The lid’s textured surface is designed to shake loose litter from paws, while the enclosed form helps reduce odor spread and keeps the litter area more contained. The stain-resistant plastic is easy to wipe clean, making routine care straightforward.

Buyer feedback often praises the assembly process and the convenience of the pull-out tray. Experiences with litter containment are mixed, however: some buyers report that litter escapes through gaps or that liquid leaks around the sides. That feedback is useful when deciding where to place the box and how closely its layout suits your cat’s habits.

Buying verdict

For households looking for an enclosed litter box that can transition from kitten training to adult use, the Medario combines adaptable access with a drawer-style tray and included cleanup accessories. Its blue, X-Large format and foldable construction also make it a practical fit for homes where a flexible litter setup matters. A solid pick if you want privacy for your cat and convenient access for regular litter changes.
