Garbuildman Pole mount-2 packs Squirrel Baffle, 19-Inch Black PP, 2-Pack

Keep squirrels from climbing a bird feeder pole with a wide, pole-mounted baffle designed for outdoor use. Garbuildman’s 19-inch guard is made from polypropylene (PP), with a smooth black surface that helps deter climbing and is easy to wipe clean. The two-pack offers a matching way to protect feeders in more than one spot.

The baffle is weather-resistant and rust-resistant, making PP a practical alternative to a metal guard for a garden, patio, porch, or yard. Its pole-mount design fits poles from 2/3 inch to 1-3/8 inches, including shepherd’s hooks.

Key points

At 19 inches in diameter, the baffle creates a broad barrier around the feeder pole. Its slick surface gives squirrels little grip as they try to climb, helping keep bird food available for visiting birds. The black PP construction suits outdoor placement and won’t rust, while its smooth finish makes dirt easier to clean off.

This set includes two baffles, useful for protecting separate feeder locations or creating a consistent look across a yard. If you are choosing between a metal guard and a polymer design, the PP construction is a helpful detail for anyone who wants a rust-resistant option.

How it fits

The baffle mounts on a pole or shepherd’s hook within the stated 2/3-inch to 1-3/8-inch range. To install it, first secure the buckle to the pole with its four screws, then wrap the baffle around the buckle and press the side buttons into place. The guard is detachable: pinch the button with pliers to open it.

For placement, set the buckle at least 6 feet above the ground and position the baffle 8 to 10 feet from a tree trunk or another platform that could provide access to the feeder. What makes this setup useful is the combination of a broad barrier and a smooth surface, rather than relying on the feeder itself to keep climbing animals away.

Everyday use

Use the guard on a feeder pole in an outdoor feeding area, then wipe the smooth surface when dirt builds up. The weather-resistant PP is suited to a spot exposed to rain and sun, and its rust-resistant material keeps the appearance of a metal guard from being a deciding factor. Its 19-inch width is the defining feature for buyers looking for a substantial pole-mounted barrier.

Customer feedback commonly highlights the baffle’s ability to deter squirrels and protect bird food. Comments on assembly, stability, durability, appearance, and size are mixed, so shoppers may weigh the wide format and pole setup against the specific space where they plan to install it.

Final verdict

Garbuildman’s two-pack is a practical choice for bird watchers who want pole-mounted squirrel protection at one or more feeders. The 19-inch diameter, smooth PP surface, rust resistance, and detachable assembly make it well suited to outdoor feeder setups on compatible poles or shepherd’s hooks.
