Who it’s for
This filter suits households and businesses looking for MERV 13 filtration in a compatible 16x25x5 system. The pleated, charged media is designed to capture dust and smaller airborne particles, with the product described as effective for particles from 0.3 to 1 microns. It can be a fit for people seeking filtration that addresses common household particles such as pollen, lint, and smoke, as well as bacteria.
The listed compatibility includes Honeywell FC100A1029 and Lennox X6670, along with other models. Before choosing a replacement, compare the filter’s actual dimensions—15.75 x 24.75 x 4.38 inches—with the current filter and confirm the system or filter model. That size check is especially useful when shopping by a nominal measurement, since the nominal 16x25x5 label differs from the exact dimensions.
Customers often mention straightforward installation and dust filtration. Feedback on fit and durability is mixed, so matching the actual size and the compatible model is a practical part of selecting the right replacement.
Box contents
The pack contains two pleated air filters. For installation, turn off power to the system, remove the old filter, and slide the replacement into place with its airflow direction aligned to the system’s airflow. Reinstall the intake cover and restore power after the filter is seated.
Buying verdict
For a compatible system that uses this size, the main reason to choose this Filterbuy pack is its MERV 13 pleated synthetic media in a two-filter replacement format. It offers a higher-rated filtration approach than a basic fiberglass filter, with the listed particle-capture focus covering dust, pollen, smoke, and other fine airborne material. The stated dimensions and model references make it easier to compare against an existing Honeywell, Lennox, or other compatible filter before ordering. You’ll appreciate it if you want a MERV 13 replacement for a suitably sized furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, or whole-house HVAC setup.
