Filter King 20x25x2 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filters, 6-Pack
Product description
The 20 x 25 x 2-inch nominal format gives this Filter King air filter a clear fit reference for compatible air conditioners and furnaces. Its actual size is 19.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches, so you can match the filter to the available slot before installation.
Each filter has a pleated paper construction and a MERV 8 rating. The pleats are designed to capture airborne particles, while the filter is made for use in home HVAC applications.
A six-pack keeps replacement filters together, making it practical to have the next one ready when it is time to change the filter. The slide-in mounting style supports a straightforward replacement routine.
Size & fit
Use the actual dimensions when checking the filter slot: 19.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches. The 20 x 25 x 2-inch description is the nominal size. This is a rectangular, slide-in filter for air conditioners and furnaces. For a routine replacement, remove the existing filter, compare its dimensions and orientation with the new one, then slide the replacement into the slot and close the access panel.
Benefits
MERV 8 filtration and a pleated design make this filter a practical choice for capturing airborne particles in a home HVAC system. The pleated construction is intended to capture more particles and extend the filter’s service life, while the product description states that it can last up to 90 days before replacement. The six-pack supports planned replacements without needing to source a single filter each time.
For example, when changing a filter in a furnace or air conditioner, the slide-in format lets you replace the used filter directly in its existing slot. Choosing a multipack suits households that prefer to keep replacement filters on hand, a single-filter purchase is a different approach for shoppers who need only one replacement at a time.
