Filter King FK16x25x4-M8-4 MERV 8 Pleated Furnace and AC Filters, 4-Pack

A scheduled furnace or air-conditioner filter change is easier to plan when you have replacements on hand. This Filter King four-pack uses MERV 8 pleated filters in a nominal 16 x 25 x 4-inch size, with an actual size of 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.75 inches. That difference matters when checking whether a replacement will slide into your existing filter slot.

The filters are made from polyester and listed for residential furnaces and air conditioners. The pack suits routine replacement needs, the key buying question is whether its actual dimensions match your system.

Key points

Each filter has a MERV 8 rating and pleated construction. The listing describes the filters as intended to capture airborne particles, with dust and allergy control as a stated use. Those details can help narrow a replacement search, but they do not establish a specific health benefit or guarantee a change in indoor air quality.

The advertised size is 16 x 25 x 4 inches, while the listed actual size is 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.75 inches. Use the actual dimensions when comparing this pack with the filter currently installed or the measurements for your HVAC slot. The filters are rectangular and slide-in style, and the pack contains four. If your system calls for a different size, the four-pack format won’t make it a suitable fit.

Usage tips

Check the size printed on your current filter and compare it with the listed actual dimensions before ordering. Nominal sizing and actual measurements are not the same here, so relying on “16x25x4” alone could lead to a mismatch. The product information says the filters can last up to 90 days, but filter life depends on conditions and use, it does not provide a specific replacement schedule for this four-inch filter.

Everyday use

For a household that keeps spare filters for planned maintenance, having four replacements together may be more convenient than sourcing one at a time. That approach is different from choosing a filter based primarily on a higher filtration rating or a different system requirement, this product’s documented rating is MERV 8, so match it to the requirements of your equipment rather than assuming it is appropriate for every HVAC setup.

Buyer feedback is generally favorable about how the filters work, with some customers mentioning dust and pet hair. Opinions on sturdiness are mixed, and feedback about sizing is also divided. That makes a careful fit check especially useful: the stated actual size is 15.5 x 24.5 x 3.75 inches, even though the product is labeled 16 x 25 x 4 inches.

A solid pick if those actual dimensions match your residential furnace or air conditioner and you want several MERV 8 replacements in one pack. You may want to skip it if your filter slot requires another size or your equipment calls for a different rating.

Final verdict

This Filter King pack is a straightforward replacement choice when you need a slide-in, pleated MERV 8 filter for a compatible residential system. Its clearest advantage is the four-filter supply, its main buying consideration is sizing, since the actual measurements are smaller than the nominal label. Confirm the dimensions and your system’s filter requirements before choosing it.
