Dragon Ball Z 704400038686 Double Feature Blu-ray: Two Animated Films

A single-film release suits a focused movie night, while this Dragon Ball Z double feature brings two different adventures together on Blu-ray. Fusion Reborn pairs Goku and Vegeta against Janemba with Goten and Trunks facing the undead on Earth, Wrath of the Dragon follows Tapion and the threat of Hirudegarn. The two stories offer fans distinct conflicts and a shared universe in one collection.

Presented in color, widescreen, and NTSC format, the release includes English and Japanese language options and is subtitled. Its listed runtime is 1 hour and 40 minutes, making it a straightforward choice for a feature-length anime viewing session.

Tech summary

Fusion Reborn builds its story around a disaster in Other World that unleashes Janemba, a monster whose strength keeps growing. The danger stretches across two fronts: Goku and Vegeta fight to protect Other World, while Goten and Trunks face a wave of undead on Earth. That split gives the film room for both high-stakes battles and the teamwork needed to confront a threat no single fighter can easily overcome.

Wrath of the Dragon shifts to dark magic and the ancient monster Hirudegarn. Tapion becomes central to stopping the destruction, bringing a more personal sacrifice into the story. Together, the films make this release appealing to viewers who want two different Dragon Ball Z movie plots rather than a single adventure. Looking for a watch that moves from a team-up battle to a story centered on Tapion? This double feature puts both on the same disc format.

The presentation is listed as color, widescreen, and NTSC, with English and Japanese audio options. Buyers often praise the stories and the films’ appearance on Blu-ray, while feedback on video quality is mixed. The release is rated NR (Not Rated).

Everyday use

This set works well for a Dragon Ball Z movie night, whether you watch both films together or choose one for a shorter session. The different plot setups help each movie stand on its own: Fusion Reborn emphasizes battles on two fronts and cooperation between familiar characters, while Wrath of the Dragon focuses on Tapion’s role in a threat to Earth. The double-feature format is a practical alternative to choosing just one of these stories for a home collection.

The listed runtime for the release is 1 hour and 40 minutes. English and Japanese language options give viewers a choice for their viewing session, and the subtitled format supports watching with subtitles. The widescreen presentation suits a standard movie setup, while the two distinct stories make the disc easy to revisit based on the kind of Dragon Ball Z adventure you want to watch.

Usage tips

Choose English or Japanese before starting, then select subtitles if you want them for your session. For a double-feature viewing, start with Fusion Reborn and follow with Wrath of the Dragon to experience the stories in the order presented in the release title. If you’re watching with other fans, the different focus of each film offers an easy way to choose between a multi-character battle and Tapion’s more personal story.

Final verdict

This Dragon Ball Z double feature is a strong fit for fans looking to add two animated movie adventures to a Blu-ray collection. Its appeal lies in the contrast between Fusion Reborn’s battles across two worlds and Wrath of the Dragon’s story of Tapion and Hirudegarn, with English and Japanese language options and a widescreen presentation. Choose it when you want both films together for an at-home anime movie session.
