ASUS ROG Moonstone Ace L Glass Mouse Pad 19.7”

This tempered glass gaming mouse pad from ASUS delivers a near-frictionless surface for fast, quiet mouse movement, built to support twitchy aiming in shooters and precise tracking in design work. The Moonstone Ace L combines an ultra-smooth matte finish with a large 19.7 x 15.7 inch footprint to give broad travel space while keeping clicks and knocks notably muted, according to the manufacturer.

Key Points

The pad emphasizes silent operation with a noise-reducing design that helps cushion impacts and dampen sounds from quick wrist movements. Its matte tempered glass surface enables ultrafast glides for both optical and laser sensors while offering consistent tracking performance. The full silicone anti-slip base holds the pad firmly in place on most desk surfaces, and subtle design marks inspired by the ROG aesthetic add a gamer-focused touch. Consider that glass surfaces can feel cooler to the touch and may attract fingerprints more than cloth pads.

The Best of This Model

This model stands out for combining durability and performance. The tempered glass resists scratches and impacts better than many soft pads, so it keeps a consistent glide over time. The large format offers extended range for low-sensitivity settings, and the anti-slip silicone base reduces the need to reposition the pad during intense sessions. For players who prioritize speed and smooth motion, the low-friction finish enhances quick, accurate swipes.

Usage Recommendations

Place the pad on a clean, flat surface to maximize the silicone base grip and avoid trapped debris under the glass. Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth to remove smudges and dust, using a mild cleaner if necessary for tougher marks. Because the pad is rigid, avoid bending or dropping it to prevent chipping. If you prefer a warmer or softer feel, pairing this glass pad with a wrist rest can add comfort during extended play.
