Corsair MM700 RGB Extended 3XL Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad, 48 x 24 in, RGB, USB Hub

A compact mouse pad keeps the focus on mouse movement. The Corsair MM700 RGB Extended 3XL takes a broader approach, covering a large desktop area for your mouse, keyboard, and other gear.

Its 48 x 24-inch woven cloth surface gives a gaming setup room to spread out, while 360-degree, three-zone RGB lighting adds color around the perimeter. Two built-in USB ports also give you convenient connection points for peripherals.

For a desk-spanning surface with lighting and onboard USB access, this model brings several setup needs together in one mat.

Pros

The generous 1,220mm x 610mm surface creates a consistent area for mouse movement and keyboard placement. That can be useful when you want your main controls on one shared surface instead of arranging a separate mouse pad alongside the keyboard. The woven textile is designed for low-friction tracking and control, supporting precise mouse movement during gaming.

RGB lighting runs around the mat in three zones. Use the onboard controls for direct adjustments, or customize and synchronize lighting through CORSAIR iCUE software. Twelve onboard lighting profiles provide preset choices, and the two USB ports make it easier to connect peripherals such as a headset or mouse close to your setup.

The 4mm-thick rubber construction adds a cushioned layer over the desk, and the anti-skid base helps keep the mat in place during use. Buyers often highlight the generous size, surface texture, appearance, and lighting. Feedback on brightness and reliability is mixed, with some reporting dimming or lights that stopped working, so those experiences vary.

Key points

The MM700 RGB Extended 3XL is a rectangular, black cloth gaming mouse pad and desk mat. Its expansive surface suits a setup where the keyboard and mouse share one continuous area. The textured woven material is optimized for gaming mouse tracking, while the rubber base combines cushioning with a non-slip design.

Lighting control is flexible: use the built-in button controls for a direct adjustment or CORSAIR iCUE for customization and synchronization with other CORSAIR devices. The two-port USB hub offers nearby connections for additional peripherals. A detachable USB Type-C cable connects the mat to a PC.

Compared with a smaller mouse-only mat, this desk-sized format makes more sense when you want broad coverage, a coordinated lighting border, and USB access integrated into the surface. Its 48 x 24-inch footprint is the defining choice for setups that need space for both keyboard and mouse.

How to use it

Place the mat on the desktop with the keyboard and mouse on its cloth surface. Connect it to a PC using the detachable USB Type-C cable, then adjust the RGB zones with the onboard controls or customize them in CORSAIR iCUE. The two USB ports can serve nearby peripherals, such as a compatible headset or mouse.

For everyday gaming, the low-friction textile supports controlled mouse movement while the broad surface keeps input devices together. The rubber construction adds cushioning beneath the hands and equipment, and the anti-skid base is designed to help the mat stay positioned on the desk.

Final verdict

Choose the MM700 RGB Extended 3XL when a standard mouse pad does not provide the desktop coverage you want. Its large cloth surface, three-zone RGB lighting, cushioned rubber build, and two USB ports make it a practical centerpiece for a gaming station built around a shared keyboard-and-mouse area.
